I am just wondering... is it BNDEP is not very good in mantaining buses or is BR/AM better. Even BR/AM Scanias are better than BNs. Even my fav CRBs all all ex BR/AM buses. Scania N113 rocks ? Thats to you but not to me. It's the bus I am very sick of but no choice I have to take them to Yishun almost everyday. I have been living in the east all my life and the sight of Scania makes me pukes ! That is why I avoid them .
However, I would love to see new scanias replacing the N113crb. I have taken overseas Scanias and they are a big difference to the ones in Singapore.
Scania N113crb has their own sets of problems just in case some of the hardcore scania fans think that bus is so perfect in their eyes.
That is all I have to say about this issue. No more further discussion. To each his own.
Anyway, let's wait and see what is SBST's plans in regards of replacing these old buses.

If not SMRT will snatch the title "First WAB SD in SG" altho the title"first WAB bus in SG" sounds better. Dont worry lah. New city buses on SG roads must be WAB , low-floored and satisfies EuroIV emissions.
And no need big wave lah. Everyone give big kiss! All bus fans put on lipsticks and kiss on the busbody and say BYE BYE!

Hmm... In the past Singapore sells some of its old buses to other countries, such as China. Nowadays all the old buses are just scrapped without being given a second life...
I feel that Singapore should have a transport museum, and retain some of the old buses for display...

B10M aren't my favourite...except for some Striders and DM3500... -

SBST should sell their Mk2s , O405s & N113s to Bangladesh coz only bangalas wants them & they dun mind to get old buses. This time will come when SBST buys more SDs like Volvo B7R/B9L , Scania K270UB & maybe K124UB to take over Merzs?

But Scania is very famous for their trucks and buses, surely its quality should be good. Its just like comparing Sony(on behalf of Merc) to Panasonic (on behalf of Scania), both are equally reliable right? Lol comparing sony to SONAR is like comparing Mercs to King Long. -

why retaining these cranky suspension buses? If the MBs and N113CRBs are going to be scrapped, why not record down the sounds and the internal view (lots of website got), then put it on a website as the 'History of Singapore Buses'. Somemore the ppl who miss the MBs and N113CRBs can at least look at the pics and hear the engine as if you're on the bus
...
If someone want to make a perfect engine sound, maybe they could record it on the empty buses, buses operate between 0500 - 0600, buses at late night or buses without TV Mobile.
