  1)From Sembawang Int, take 167 or 980 to Thomson Rd, then change to 851
  2)From AMK Int, walk to Ang Mo Kio MRT Station, take CT8 to New Bridge Rd then change to 33

  if u're asking for the sake of a direct service (no transfers), from amk int walk towards courts and take 851 from the bus stop behind. for sembawang, no direct route is possible.

  Just walk across to Tiong Bahru lar. It is just a 3-4 minutes walk.
