Not only that, the OC500LE/LF the chassis' are very similar to the Citaro, only that Citaros come fully built up assembled, whereas OC500LE/LF you nd a bodywork and assembling of the bodywork.

But too bad the noisy aircon make the background very noisy. Dont like Hispano OAC Merc because of its noisy aircon. 
Volgren Merc's are better, very quiet.
Btw my own video of B10TL. Rego is SBS9848M on svc25, going towards Bedok. Video not clear, but can hear the engine sound.

Oh yeah, so far, we only have SMRTBs engine sound, they are buses scrapping soon... why not get the sounds before it is scrapped?
Maybe the old looking Nissans, N113CRB and the MK2s?
Let us get this thread active and maybe a source of info to the ppl who never listen before/their beloved sounds of the SG public buses sounds. -

Btw what did you use to record the sounds? Sounds very clear! -
i saw this around 2 weeks before; did it sound like those that were found in sg? and i even heard that the ability of HK MEs were nerfed by alot [max speed only 65kmh] thru the replacing of the 3rd gear to another ratio. They did something later on to reduce the speed

That is not possible, as the differential they used was an ultra high accelleration differential, which would limit the speed of the bus to 75km/h. At a push, 80. But nowhere near 100, let alone 110. If that is the case, then there may be the chance that the differentials have been changed, but something tells me that this is not so. But don't worry... I haven't driven any O.305s with the same differential, or looked underneath one O.305 decker which has been saved... so don't mind me at all...

The first half, you'll be along JW St 63, seeing the new MRT lines. The bus was actually driven by a pro driver but too bad he didn't floor the accelerator at all and we also stopped at every bus stop (except Hall 1)! We only managed to catch up with the previous bus in NTU in the last minute.

In part 2, pure Cummins power! BC downshifts to first gear, then floors the bus all the way up the hill, overtaking 2 buses at the bus stop (the other side of the camera though...)!
In part 4 & 5, you'll see the bus stuck in first gear (got lock-up). But I estimate at least 40km/h!

For 2nd video (9290X), that driver is on 9064H this week. But 9064H is MIA so he drives the cameo of 9064H/
For 3rd video (9067A), that driver is standby driver. But very pro! He managed to get almost 70km/h on a VO3x in NTU last time...
