Launch of New TransitLink Guide 2007 - 16 January 2007
Singapore – Public transport commuters will be pleased to know that the new TransitLink Guide will be available at all TransitLink Ticket Offices and Card Replacement Offices in MRT stations and bus interchanges with effect from 16 January 2007, and subsequently, at major bookstores as well.
Compiled in a handy, compact size, the Guide contains integrated information on detailed bus routes, and the MRT and LRT system. Information on bus service amendments to more than 30 routes, recent fares revision, as well as the various types of ez-link cards and use of the cards on buses, MRT and LRT have also been incorporated into this latest edition of the Guide.
In addition to the above, Senior Citizen ez-link card holders would find the comprehensive information on senior citizen fares and concession hours most useful. Concession card holders like students and NSF can also refer to the Guide for easy-to-follow steps on concession schemes, loss report and card replacement.
WhatÂ’s more, the retail price of this yearÂ’s enhanced Guide is kept at $2 per copy (inclusive of GST) in view of the impending GST hike. With over 500 pages of information on integrated public transport at their fingertips, commuters are certainly getting more value for money.
