545X does have the modified Fuji A/C though.Originally posted by collinnxk88:depends on the time of the day.
well, when i took SBS 545X today, the aircon blowing was decently cool enough. but CACs in general usually have stronger AC.
Does that means that more buses would install this modified fuji A/C? The modified A/C on SBS 341S has been modified many times. Especially the interior, u can see the ugly compartment of the aircon. It is like using those cheap aluminium and cut it and fix it up. Why they dun take out the A/C and replace another one?Originally posted by stooper:545X does have the modified Fuji A/C though.
The original Fuji A/Cs are very lousy now...![]()
I don't think they will modify more buses lah... The present buses with those A/Cs have been modified very very long ago already! I remember in 1998, 341S already had that type of A/C (but haven't make hole in interior yet).Originally posted by chickenlittle2:Does that means that more buses would install this modified fuji A/C? The feedback from the BC only can get the attentioness of the workshop,You think every technician know every faulty buses huh?Originally posted by chickenlittle2:SBS 252R, Serious leaking near the exit door! Although this bus is newly painted and rubber at the side changed but it does have this problem. I am curious that if all buses undergo washing everyday. Why they do not know that they were water going into the bus?
Ya, the sound came from the bottom of the standing area.Originally posted by manjieass:like some DM 3500s??
But the DM3500 Pss Pss sound is usually when the driver brake then release the brake to slow down the bus.Originally posted by manjieass:like some DM 3500s??
Some MB 0405 which are on svc 502 like SBS 3733A and SBS 3746M have the pss sound like the ABS sound!Originally posted by stooper:But the DM3500 Pss Pss sound is usually when the driver brake then release the brake to slow down the bus.
Anti Brake Lock System.Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Does ABS make a sound? Do you know what is ABS in the first place? The O405 has airbag suspension. As the bus goes over humps on the road or when the bus is loading/unloading, the airbag will get compressed/inflated and some of the air will escape. That is the sound you hear.
OK, so ABS can also be translated as Air Bag Suspension, but the whole world in general refer to ABS on vehicles as Anti-lock Braking System. ABS uses wheel speed sensors to determine if one or more wheels are trying to lock up during braking. If a wheel tries to lock up, a series of hydraulic valves limit or reduce the braking on that wheel. This prevents skidding and allows you to maintain steering control.
May I know which type of buses have ABS?Originally posted by MS:Anti Brake Lock System.
ABS is a monitoring system for prevention of wheel locking during hard braking.
I have how the ABS valves look like those who want to know can PM me.
Easy boarding for old folks and women lah dey,Same like SBS850POriginally posted by alleggerita:I have seen this two Volvo B10M MkIV DM3500s at Hougang interchange and another one at Sengkang interchange..forgot what services was it..but anyways, seems like the front suspension of both DM3500 got busted!! The front of both buses are so low that it is nearly scrapping the ground..the rear is okay..An MkIV DM3500 is not that old, so why is this happening? Haven't seen this problem with other B10Ms or any other buses..lol..So does anybody knows what's the cause behind this?
Those are not Vogelsitze, those are unknown brand.Originally posted by TWS4793:Some of the Volgetsize seats on SBS 9820S (25 AMDEP) are torn off.
I also suspect its not Vogelsitze. Cause the first version Vogelsitze and the second version are different. Take the Habits first batch and second batch for example. Also, Vogelsitze the seats are not jointed in the middle. They are separate, which allows changing of covers of each seats individually. Am i right ?Originally posted by Scania:Those are not Vogelsitze, those are unknown brand.
I've seen the opposite: a MKIV DM3500 whose ground-clearance was so high it looked like it was on stilts!Originally posted by alleggerita:I have seen this two Volvo B10M MkIV DM3500s at Hougang interchange and another one at Sengkang interchange..forgot what services was it..but anyways, seems like the front suspension of both DM3500 got busted!!
