Comparing to 178, i prefer service 187 due to some reasons
- Apart from Nissans also got newer buses eg Bendies
- Shorter route than 178 (187 got 26 fare stages whereas 178 got 34)
- Plies expressway from Bt Panjang to Woodlands
- More straight forward route (while 178 detours around some areas
) -
I take it everyday to school and i do wish the bus would not be that crowded...

For me, i stil remember 187 from my childhood days. It was a great bus because it served Street 51, which is where i used to live near. I always remembered 187 as the only TIBS bus to ply along Street 51 which was peculiar and I liked it (even if SBS handed it over).
It usually gets crowded (from what I can see) from BNL to I think the Bukit Panjang area. But I dont really know much about 187 since I dont live near it anymore but I really home 187 has more MB O405s and gives scania to perhaps 911? 903? lol. -

Took CSS191X on sv 187 2day,
Bus interior look very run down,
Rivets, screws n metal surfaces rusting away,
Bus surfaces either wif paint peeling off or dirt marks on it,
Seats uncomfortable with patched up marks,
Journey very slow n bumpy along BKE,
And people behind me comment tat bus very "lok kok",
Some even mentioned tat aircon very warm...
Later took TIB861P on sv 187 back to Woodlands,
Bus much cooler wif green interiors,
Aircon much cooler and journey much more smoother
And people wif smiling faces
