  Find me a B10TL in Hong Kong with the B9TL dashboard. All B10TLs have the same stock dashboard, be it Wright-bodied, Alexander-bodied or Volgren-bodied.

  anyone notice 9888Y is the only DD with a rear cam? and 9888Y compared with the others including 9889U is much quieter because of the gearbox and radiator... 9889U sounds like an ordinary VSO but 9888Y doesnt... and 9888Y is the only bus with EDS removed... and 9888Y is the only VSO with TV mobile

  Hello.. Of course there's a difference in engine sounds for the both buses lar.. One is Voith the other is ZF.. How do you expect them to sound the same ?

  The first Super Olympian prototype chassis was delivered to Singapore as SBS 9888 Y in 1998/1999. It was only after the success of the trial in Singapore that KMB began to place its orders for the chassis.

  If you look back at the 2nd page, in Scanialuver's post, there's a link to wikipedia. It says HK ordered it them 1998, whereas 9888Y only came in 1999.

  its the only VSO with ZF gearbox still its unique

  Not entirely true, 9889U used to "bellow"! Hope it isn't now!

  The gauges are still the same. It is merely removing the original dash panels. Even if one removes the original dash panels of the B10TL IT CANNOT have gauges from the B9TL.

  I see. Why were the original panels changed?
  
  If the Merc OC500s can't have O405 gauges, I don't see why the Volvo B9TLs can have VSO gauges.
