got see the news or not? one VO2x 182 was caught fire this morning at Tuas and the bus was brunt severly.

Please don't speculate on things that have not been confirmed. Tomorrow will be the first day I start work ever since my reservist. I will go and check it out. I also dun even know whether I can find out the truth also.
When such things happen, sometimes it is not the fault of the workshop or technicians. It may be prematured damaged components or unproperly repaired components from contractors or even terrorist attacks. We won't know also.
I will be surprised that forum members can know the case better than me as a core member of the maintenance group.
So by speculating and spreading around matters unconfirmed reflect badly on the person as proper investigations are not carried out at all. Inproper rumours can get the wrong guy into wrong trouble.
So please refrain. Don't make me repeat it and point you out as a fool. -

It is strange on weekdays, but there are DDs every weekend (2 DDs IIRC). It uses either the SP or 154 VO2xs. If you see the weekend cameo lists, you'll see the 182 VO2xs listed. -

Not only MK3's , sometimes Striders also.
