SBST's Buses to be withdrawn.

Today is the last day for SBST's 1 & only Man 16.240 , as it will reach its lifespan tomorrow 4 Feb 2007 & withdrawn after that with no extension of lifespan. Info gotten from https://vrl.lta.gov.sg/lta/vrl/action/pubfunc?ID=EnquireTransferFee

That's the SBS81S , which is a Training Bus perm , the nostalgic part is that the interior seats is the orginal SBS grey and blue strip seats , which its rare

Your title is very misleading. SBST's buses to be withdrawn, what you meant is the entire fleet of SBST's buses are withdrawn. Please check carefully before posting next time.

Ya. SJE ones are the same , is just that this one is auto gear , whereas the SJE's are Manuals . Btw SJE seems to have many old MANs but the shocking thing is that they are introduced & registered in 1994! WTF. I remember i went to the vrl web & type in duno wat number of an SJE MAN which look similar to 81S , the result comes out that that MAN was introduced & registered duno in 1994 or 1996. Whats this? SBS 81S is indeed a demonstrator bus for SBS. SJE has been using MAN 16.240 buses since the 1980s, before SBS got 81S. The MAN buses we see today are purchased later, hence they were registered in the mid 90s.

the closest i cmr to it was chasing it on a bus and it was doing 61 n of coz i miss taking it. doh!
nevertheless i have taken loads of MAN buses/coach in KL or HK ...they really rocks
