Cuz i think bendies are really needed in svc that serves schools, like 187 and 190. DDs are for SBST side.
Some trips deviate via certain schools near the bus route. If only SG bus operators could do similar things. -

No, its not true. The Leyland Lynx remained until the end. If SBST decide to sell off 1688K and 2888T, then its their decision because it's their buses. You mean capital instead of incentives?
The O.530BZs are still on trial by Mercedes Benz around the world, I don't think that they are owned by the companies or governments.
I think you need to know that many of the fuel Cell bsues are trialled by Mercedes Benz in cooperation with governments, Perth, many German cities have government owned public transport (and they either give an operator contract to run the buses or run it themselves), therefore they can afford to have the buses running.
SBS Transit has enough capital to buy at least 1 O.530BZs, its just that they must consider it carefully before they buy.
You sound as if our bus companies are not giving buses deemed good for you, shall they give you some old bus before you realise that what you have is better than Australia (since you keep referring to it), they have 26 year old government buses like O.305s still running. -

I really hope that SBST will bring in either Volvo/Scanias WAB single deckers soon.A few Nissan midibuses will be nice too.Can't wait to see the MKIIs go.MKIIIs also can follow suit if given a choice

Anyway, Scania WAB SDs might be taken by SMRT first, if SMRT chose to switch away from MB but still chooses European buses.. I also hope to see new Volvo SDs, but this time, i want the wheels to be non ALCOA products. I prefer those wheels used by VSO, CNG B10BLE and the Sentosa B7RLEs.
