7x WA MK 2 NAC from AMDEP went into lay up status recently..

Its a state when the bus is not fitted for revenue service in one way or another.
Accident vehicles that require a long mx period will also be on laid up status.

Looks like 95, 96, 103, 113, 112 will be largely affected. Probably this meant that the Volvo Olympians would be replacing those routes. Looks like we have at most a week till bye bye for the Mark IIs. Some may become 'Ghost' (Sold to NZ or England). The bus perfect for school bus.

Service 11 and 191 have 1 bus each and both are mark IIs.
Service 9 has 5 Mark IIs out of 20 in its fleet..
Service 32 has 7 Mark IIs out of 15 in its fleet..
Service 182 has 3 Mark IIs out of 6 in its fleet -

There was this one fine Thursday in December or January when i saw the tow truck pulling the bus with a completely gone front at Alexandra Rd/AYE junction towards Ganges Ave. believed it turned from Pasir Panjang/Telok Blangah Rd but I wonder why the truck didnt turn into the AYEOriginally posted by stooper:Any details of the 9107T accident?

The MK IIs are still in good shape to run another 1 to 2 years.

No, the Mark IIs are different. Some Mark IIs looked identical to Mark IIIs as they were bodied by Duple Metsec. The Mark IIs on 170 were Walter Alexander PS bodied, simmilar to Scania N113CRB and a part of the Mercedes 0405sOriginally posted by ceecookie:Current 170 is Mark III then?
