Don't think they can use other models except Merz (0405 and 0405G's). Note that the Bendies on NR usually can be seen on special Occasions , most of the time it use Merz 0405 (Hispano and Volgren). But i think someone got mention that there were DAF on NR5? Can't remember when..

Dennis Lances were seen on NR6 before too.

I dont see the reason why they need to deploy UDs on NRs when they got so many 0405s to play around with during night time.

Personally I don't think that Nissans should be deployed on NR services instead the current Mercedes-Benz 0405 fleet should

Anyway the NR's got no perm buses so they can actually use any model from the depot's , but i think they can only use the Merz , not sure why though.

Not really true that they always use Merz , except for those controlled by WL , KJ's nightrider do use Hinos & Dafs as well as Merz . AMDEP uses DL & Merz. I've yet to see a Scania doing NR. Hmmm... way back in the early 2000s, I did remember seeing a DAF on the now-withdrawn NR16...
Thing may have changed since then, but this might indicate that they do use other bus models (depending on the depot controlling them) on NightRider routes. -

If Hino Volgren on NR i think is better also , so that the bus stopping bell can wake people up

Really, i don't see the logic of the qns. At night, of all the many buses that are not being used, why should Nissans be used? After all, after serving tirelessly on 187 and blablabla, i'm sure they need more rest cos they are older then the other models...lol

I think the Nissans would be good on NR services, especially when you have drunks who vomit everywhere... the vinyl seats are easier to clean than the cloth seats of the O.405s and O.405Gs.

yes Uk lance happen before on NR6 NR7 and NR1 basically those bus operated by AMKDEP.
the most common lance to do NR is TIb1017 n 1018 spotted many times on NR6.
volgren merc are common on NR services also.
now when will a hino do NR? ah hah...
NR services cost 3 dollars. no! to nissans .
