Because u no fate with buses there loh!Originally posted by TWS4793:Bus go too fast got another problem. I cannot take a proper picture of a bus (especially with my light camera and with flash deactivated for safety reasons).
I was over at Scotts Road and Orchard Road (Wisma Atria) yesterday. I was seen standing at the side of the road trying to take pictures of buses. Some of the buses there quite fast and I was unable to take a proper picture of a bus. I was also brawling and complaining over it.
I had never gone elsewhere except Bedok and Tampines to take pictures of buses, yet when I wanted to take the chance, my chance was taken away. Why?
Your chance was taken away because firstly, you're at the WRONG LOCATION, and secondly, you behave like a little kid and whine about everything that goes wrong.Originally posted by TWS4793:Bus go too fast got another problem. I agree.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Your chance was taken away because firstly, you're at the WRONG LOCATION, and secondly, you behave like a little kid and whine about everything that goes wrong.
And take outside the Interchange/Terminals , there are also other places to take photos also...Originally posted by autumncs:I agree.
You cannot expect the buses to stop just for you to take photos wat... Somemore there are so many vehicles and people on Orchard Rd that block your view and spoil your photos...
The best places to take photos are still the bus terminals and interchanges...
Bus depots?Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:And take outside the Interchange/Terminals , there are also other places to take photos also...
My favourites are junctions, firstly the buses tend to slow down or stop, secondly, the angle is better when the bus turns.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Bus depots?

Junctions...Hmm....Bendies looks great at those angles...Originally posted by SBS3625D:My favourites are junctions, firstly the buses tend to slow down or stop, secondly, the angle is better when the bus turns.
I reccomend you near depot.Originally posted by SBS3625D:My favourites are junctions, firstly the buses tend to slow down or stop, secondly, the angle is better when the bus turns.
Wah lao, you think you who, special VIP ha, need bus driver to slow down one ijjit?Originally posted by TWS4793:Bus go too fast got another problem. I cannot take a proper picture of a bus (especially with my light camera and with flash deactivated for safety reasons).

You mean Newton's 2nd Law ah?Originally posted by TWS4793:Oh yeah! The acceleration causes force, not the speed.
dude, i come here to relax, not to effing learn Physics all over again.Originally posted by Donavan:You mean Newton's 2nd Law ah?
Constant velocity = no resultant force. Why?
Recall F = ma.
A particle at constant velocity (say 15m/s) stays at 15m/s, and as such has no acceleration (or retardation)
Since a = 0, substituting a = 0 into (F = ma),
you'll have a resultant force of zero, regardless of the mass of the bus.
However, when you've acceleration (or retardation), there is a force exerted.
Take for example a shopping basket having a mass of 1.5kg and a push of 12N by a shopper. What is its initial acceleration?
Applying F = ma,
12N = 1.5kg x a.
a = 8m/s^2.
You'll be able to see as it picks up velocity in a particular direction.
But the acceleration isn't the factor why you fall.
Bring in Newton's First Law, regarding inertia.
An object at rest tends to stay at rest; an object in motion tends to continue its motion with a constant velocity (magnitude and direction) except when acted upon by an unbalanced force.
As good as saying, when your bus accelerates, you tend to stay "at rest". Then suddenly, you also start to experience a force. You'll be able to experience it when the bus undergoes retardation. (or otherwise deceleration, or otherwise negative acceleration)
"DO NOTE: All calculations for F = ma: F and a are vectors. Please explicitly know the direction of force and acceleration you're applying, as this formula can potentially give rise to a negative value, especially when calculating retardation.
