  How many times does an average SBS transit bus refuel a day
  
  just asking cause i was puzzled as i seldom see any buses going off duty to top up their fuel or a bus which ran out of fuel half way on it's journey

  yea seems like refuel in the mornings at 4am then nvr liao, i live near bldp route there, 193 bus route there, but i seldom see off serviced buses

  They usually refill once a day. Normally at the end of the shift when they return to the depot.

  Erm... Bus use diesel... not petrol. Not so easy to burn.

  I know. The flash point for diesel is higher than petrol. When it's burn, the amount of (energy) heat released I cannot imagine.

  Maybe should have a few compartment storing the diesel. Then install cross fet valve like air plane. So when one compartment gets fire, the rescuers have more time to save. The passenger could have more time to escape.

  I only know that CNG bus need refuelling more than a normal bus. Info taken from Bus Info Hub.

  The fuel tank is more than enough for whole day trips eg S51,For S161 they refuelled twice

  Lol...The standard tank for the B7R coach is 300 litres sia, according to Volvo website.
