All the B10Ms regradless of Mks, have around the same weight. if there was any significant drop or increase in the GVM of the B10Ms between the Marks, then it wouldn't be a B10M anymore. What O.405s do you want, if you say WA, DM, CAC, it shows how ignorant are you to the fact that they are using the same chassis, which have the same weight (without aircon). Unless you are talking about O.405N, O.405N^2, O.405NH and so on and so forth, which are then different kinds of O.405s. DM, WA, CAC O.405s are all the same O.405s.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:okok! May I know wat are the B10M u all r toking about? wat MB 0405 u all r toking about? State it out clearly!
Clearly shows how ignorant you are to chassis of buses. if you are already ignorant about such things, do some research before posting, instead of just shouting out and showing how smart you are.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:okok! Hey kids, you should look further. Just like a sport car, each inch, every dimensions make a different! Some shapes that may cause the car go slower and some shapes that make the car goes faster! Same to MK 3, u much determine the height of each wheel, the amount of gas loss, the arrangement of the seats inside, even the A/C unit on top and how many pple and include the weight and how many sitting at the left or right would affect the bus!Originally posted by Scania:Clearly shows how ignorant you are to chassis of buses. if you are already ignorant about such things, do some research before posting, instead of just shouting out and showing how smart you are.
What about Dennis Dart? I think there is a version called SLF, but it uses a vertical engine. You can see the engine bay from the interior.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:FYI, the engine of the O405 is also placed horizontally. Actually, the reason why horizontal engines are used on both B10M and O405 is not because of having a lower centre of gravity like what Subaru claims, instead since the engine is horizontal or "pancake", theres no need for extra space/room for underfloor equipment, which explains why B10M has a horizontal engine. If the B10M were to have a horizontal engine, the platform height would be so high due to the need for space for underfloor equipment that its platform height would almost same to those tourist coaches.
Buses that are fully low floor, but uses vertical engines, has the engine placed in transverse position, in order to enable full low floor. An example is the N113CRB (altho not low floor), its engine was placed in transverse position, meaning engine is parallel to the axle. Another example of low floor buses with vertical engines placed in transverse position is the B9TL.
The bus i guess should have a similar configuration to the B7RLE of Sentosa. Front is LE (low entry) as well exit . However, the back of the bus is "raised" to accomodate underfloor equipment as well as the engine. If im not wrong, the new B9L should be fully low floor, like the Citaro.Originally posted by iveco:What about Dennis Dart? I think there is a version called SLF, but it uses a vertical engine. I ask you KID, do you really need people to give you specific information? Its generally recongized by bus fans world wide than B10Ms are more suitable to be coaches than O.405s and stability plays a part in choosing a choach, How is the B10M light, can you answer me?Originally posted by chickenlittle2:Hey kids, you should look further. Oh..NOW you are talking about stuffs so specifically..you want people to answer such specific questions, why not go find out the answers yourself? And you are even going into specifics like how many people sitting on left or right side..Why not ask how much hair the passengers have? Some have more hair, some have less..it does make a difference too!Originally posted by chickenlittle2:Hey kids, you should look further. Was talking about MKIV dm with the THD101GD. On second thoughts, The DM3500 is not bad too.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Woah! Which MKIVs has the 285bhp engine? The DM3500? Cause i rmbr the THD101GC/THD102KF engine (used by MKIV Striders and MKIV DM and MKIV PSV Soon Chow) produces 245bhp leh (am i correct?). Not sure about the DH10A (DM3500) . 285bhp seems really powerful for a SD citybus.![]()
If I were to talk like someone who is 7-years-old, you would be talking like someone who is yet unborn. You were talking about specifics aren't you? So I'm just suggesting that you include hairs in your variables since hairs have weight and they make a difference too! And would you think someone who is 7-years-old can command such good english? Look at what you typed above. In just 2 sentences you made 2 mistakes, and that's when I'm lenient about it. "Hahaz"? What's that? An alien word? "You talk like my nephew who "WAS" about 7-years-old". Oh, are you telling me, forgive for saying, your nephew has already passed away? Shouldn't it be "You talk like my nephew who "IS" about 7-years-old"? Go figure, my dear unborn friend.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:hahaz! that was funny! Do you believe them? Many bndep drivers prefer Scanias than B10Ms because Scania accleration is good and easier to drive.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Some said older Scania abit difficult to steer. Is it true arh?![]()
Nah i dont believe them. Just that i dont know if its true or not, just to make sure. Otherwise you might say im blabbering rubbish again.Originally posted by Scania:Do you believe them? Many bndep drivers prefer Scanias than B10Ms because Scania accleration is good and easier to drive.
Actually does great accleration determine that the bus is gd. Does gd accleration needed when you drive along JW west st 41/east? Where you gotta stop almost every 50m.Originally posted by Scania:Do you believe them? Many bndep drivers prefer Scanias than B10Ms because Scania accleration is good and easier to drive.
