Ya try taking S67. I saw one BC talk to passenger very loudly one. He say "HAH??" very loudly. Those unpolite SBST BC u encounter is most likely young drivers. Alot of uncle drivers i met are rather polite, they even smile at me when i take pics of buses they drove. Some SMRT BCs also scolds people for taking pics of buses one.

I remembered the Malaysian brothers: Foo Kim Siong and Foo Kim Ming (service 169 captains). They are the most couterous drivers I have seen on the roads, their faces ever appeared in the Newpaper before.

Okay, so I don't feel, on my side, that SMRT BC are good, the worst being AMDEP BC's. I once got onto TIB 0580A on Service 67. I was standing at the front and peering over at the BC console. Then, he called me names and asked me to move to the rear. I felt it was quite insulting.
SBST BC much better. The other day (which is a Thursday), I was on SBS 0726R on Townlink 293 after a very hetic day in school. The BC quite kind. I asked him whether I could take picture of rego and he agreed. He also asked me in a kind manner why I wanted to take pictures of buses. Yesterday I was on SBS 0894M on Service 27, the BC quite kind. Same to BC on SBS 2726C on Service 15 for today.
But some SBST BC's aren't good. I am unable to list any examples even if I had experience. But overall, SBST BC's are the best (and seldomly the worst) I have seen. -
I oso think the TIBS one better, take 187 all smile one, then the SBS one always bin or or one. dunno why, SBS one like this one.

SMRT drivers those uncle have those kopitiam uncle behavior, abit crude but friendly. But some SBST BC i met are nice people. Got one BC i met whose age was around 30+ was very kind, we told him that i lost my wallet at junction 8 and had to go back there to retrieve my wallet, he told us kindly "Erm then u had to pay 55cents leh" after awhile he say " Wah, lost wallet arh? U must be careful leh! Next time u got IC liao and you lost the wallet is a big problem."

Hey there everyone.
Bus Drivers are just humans like us. Occasionally they show attitude because they got so fed up with passengers who treat them equally rude or worse. Once you're in their shoes, you'll know how difficult their job can be. It's not just those that you see inside job description about it being a challenging career etc. There're loads of sour stories behind them..
No matter which company those bus drivers are from, their hardwork should be appreciated. -
a few weeks back i took a bus SBST svc 162 frm bsh to yck int .... n this indian BC ... super friendly ..... when i got up the bus .. he greeted me with a " Good afternoon Sir .... Welcome aboard " .... i was so totally stunned .. cos seldom got BC this friendly ..... n tats not it ... he greeted every passenger who boarded his bus along the journey ... n when ppl tr alighting .. esp elderly ppl he will tell them to sit down first till the bus stop fully liao den alight ..... den at int he will say gdbye to his passengers ..... this was the best BC i ever met ...
but i only saw him once nia ...... i tink he not regular driver of tat svc -
There is this BC on 302 , usually he drive TIB868X , and he smile at the pax including me when onboard the bus , and usually he will wait for the pax if the pax is faraway and trying to catch the bus and the pax thanked the BC , hmm , i think he is the best BC for 302.
