  Service 228, from what I know, passes by one secondary school. During the morning peak hours, the buses get more like sardines. The worst is SMRT's Service 67. Wah, I see TIB 0973A jam-packed even if it's a bendy!

  A lot of times, loading isn't just the factor for dd deployment

  If the real reason is to cater for the crowd on sv 90 I suppose tat SBST had looked into the matter n consider deploying LO3x instead of those crappy NAC SD Scanias on sv 90
  
  SBST deploy NAC LO2x on sv 90, intention in fact is to dump any NAC buses (NACs available from BLBP) there instead of using DDs to cater for the crowd. Now tat the LO2x are gone, all those remaining NAC SD Scanias (from BLBP) were all dumped there instead of upgrading it to LO3x

  There was a time (long ago) when I passed by the Bedok Int office and saw a notice indicating roads unfit for DDs. If I remember correctly, the notice included Changi Airport, Stadium Rd (the part under Nicoll Highway), Lor Chuan (the part under Bradell Flyover), Hendeson Rd (btw Telok Blangah Rd & Depot Rd), Siglap Rd, Frankel Ave, South Buona Vista Rd, etc. For some roads, the reason is obvious (low bridge, steep slope, etc). But for some roads like Hendeson Rd & Frankel Ave, the reason is low trees. (Actually the trees can be cropped to make way for DD, right?)

  32 doesnt have DDs. Can explain to me why? If 5 could use DDs even when turining into the narrow Margaret Drive road when it was under SBS, why cant 32 use DDs now?

  True, there are low trees at Frankel Ave. But if we were to prune them, the trees will be leafless! There are only a small amount of trees and all of them are low...

  Yup , it does have DD. I only know SBS9888Y which is on 502 at that time.

  The bus should be perm on 56 now. That one is just a rare cameo only.

  simei part of 38 was served by 290 which had bendies
  
  those NAC scanias on 90 94 265.. yeah.. SBS just want to dump them there.. cos really not much services to deploy to..
  
  actually feeder really deserve NAC more.. Ac also wasted for short journey..
  
  AC bus on 90 can collect more fares also dont want

  Narrow roads doesn't really matter. It's the turns along the narrow roads that matter.
