Non Ac Routes.

WHat would happen to these non Air conditioned buses routes, who now use the non ac Volvo Olympian 2-axle - Alexander Royale body to go for it rounds.
For eg: svc 246 and 249 and most of 192 and 193?

I can tell that they are the last NAC DD in Singapore and the others SD models are scrapping soon, going to be the last. -

why SBS dun want to convert VO2X into aircon?

If you get VO2X to convert into aircon, it means that it will increase the load at the rear axle. Haven't you learned it in your Science yet? The smaller the surface area, the more the load would be on the axle(s).Originally posted by Rooky:why SBS dun want to convert VO2X into aircon?

The extra pair of wheels at the rear of a AC DD bus is present to support the weight of the A/C compressor. Without the wheels, the DD bus may overturn. So the NAC DD do not need the extra pair of wheels because of the absence of an A/C compressor.

so most of the newer [post 98/99] buses in the UK do not have any aircon at all?
but do they have heaters? [i saw some interior photos of an UK ALX400 and their vents look like AC vents which made me wonder if there's aircon] -
