prob air blowers. much like our habits. those r heater vents athough it seems to be blowing ari-con due to some form of modifications.Originally posted by collinnxk88:so most of the newer [post 98/99] buses in the UK do not have any aircon at all?
but do they have heaters? [i saw some interior photos of an UK ALX400 and their vents look like AC vents which made me wonder if there's aircon]
242 is his favourite routeOriginally posted by kenn3th:why important![]()
thanks for the info... if those buses cfmed are able to give warm air during winter, they should be able to give out air con too. ._.Originally posted by ZYX2005:prob air blowers. much like our habits. those r heater vents athough it seems to be blowing ari-con due to some form of modifications.
i also not sure if the vent thingies in UK buses blow air-con during summer or not. go Uk see for ourselves?
yes vo2x cannot be air-conditioned. unless some one super man engineer very smart built a super flat under carriage air-con JUST to balance the heavier load at the bottm of vo2x and fix it underneath the bus. ie underfloor AC.

Most UK Buses are non airconditioned, except those former HK Olympians.Originally posted by ZYX2005:prob air blowers. much like our habits. those r heater vents athough it seems to be blowing ari-con due to some form of modifications.

Does not seem to have any blowers if i can recall. i got a blur picture of a London DD upper deck interior.Originally posted by collinnxk88:thanks for the info... if those buses cfmed are able to give warm air during winter, they should be able to give out air con too. ._.
middle AC is technically possible but the process of doing a M-style underfloor AC would be very tedious and expensive compared to T/B-style. [t-tower, b-back, m-middle]

that was WINDOWS. you are talking abt AIR BLOWERS. This is two different things. Did u see any air blowers?Originally posted by ZYX2005:umm pls check ur pciture
the bus already has hopper windows. those hopper windows is for open to let air in in case summer stuffy or winter bus too hot etc
