Interesting to note that for the 194 timesheets, the depot is stated to be BNL interchange, the index number having "jr" inside and also the block number starts with jr-7xx First time I'm seeing jr-7xx being used. Normally it's "8xx" for AC SD.

Then whats the purpose of having Asst Route Master(Formerly known as Timekeeper)Originally posted by stooper:But dangerous lah.... If one bus (& BC) late, then whole svc affected!

Ask the BC.As simple as thatOriginally posted by BusSpeeder:where to find the bus timetables?
this morning at 8 am, only one bus (SV 13) were seen parking in YCK Terminal.Originally posted by SBS9888Y:often see Tpy int Asst Route Master go find those 143 BCs to arrnage their catchup time..cuz 143 timing can quite tight one..den BCs sometimes super late
u sure same driver? all sv at yck do jump bus at that time.Originally posted by lemon1974:this morning at 8 am, only one bus (SV 13) were seen parking in YCK Terminal.
SBS2741h from SV 162 and 9008X and 1xB9TL of SV 72 were seen parking at the alighting berth after reaching the terminal, then driver go scan and then drove off again to pick up passengers.
likewise for 7415 (SV 76). took more than 15 mins to travel from AMK Ave 4 (opposite blk 155) to outside YCK terminal. bus was running late as well.
never see clearly whether it is the same driver or not, cos i am inside a car waiting along the slip road just outside YCK station. only see the bus stopping for a few mins then it move to the boarding berth alrd.Originally posted by service_238:u sure same driver? all sv at yck do jump bus at that time.
S Shift = Chance of having Tea BreakOriginally posted by stooper:A question:
When is a Tea break given to Split Shifts?
Some shifts with 8h+ Payhour already have Teabreak, like 9889U on old 147 and 2999G on 243W.
But other S shifts, 10h+ Payhour also no Tea (nor meal) break. For 179, I see at least 10h30min+ then got tea break.
Yeah, noticed that too, but some S shift buses have 17-18min normal break, not tea break though.Originally posted by service_238:Usually Tea breaks are given to break times 10min to 19min if you have noticed the timesheets carefully.
Chances are that there's a tea break elsewhere on the timesheet if not they forgot to factor the Tea Break inside.Originally posted by stooper:Yeah, noticed that too, but some S shift buses have 17-18min normal break, not tea break though.
179 has many breaks longer than 10mins... Longest is 18min for S shift, 19min for A/P shift! Almost enough for a meal!Originally posted by service_238:Chances are that there's a tea break elsewhere on the timesheet if not they forgot to factor the Tea Break inside.
Anyway its still a break from their trip, not as if they will earn more if tea breaks are found on the timesheet?
yes they canOriginally posted by SBS9889U:Can tea breaks be taken away if the BC is late? (Like Meal breaks cannot be taken away no matter what)
se-808 is the block/run number. se is for East district, while SC is for Central and SW is for West District. 8xx is for SIngle deck air-con buses. Yes 1413 is the time the driver for 89P tap card, but he should be at the interchange way before that time.Originally posted by TWS4793:Wake this topic up to prevent thread expiration.
I managed to have a hand at my first timesheet today. It's courtesy of BC driving SBS 3721J on Service 225W today. He's doing shift 87A.
1. I notice a 'se -808' after the 'Break' line. What does that denote?
2. How is the payhour calculated? In the timesheet I have, the payhour stated '8h39'. The BC starts work at 0557 hrs at T1 and the last line of the timesheet mentioned 'CHANGE 1407 1413'. Is the '1413' referring to the start of work for BC doing 89P on the same bus? (I didn't have time to get the one for 89P, in which the timesheet 89P is behind 87A.)
Where's the OT then?Originally posted by Scania:Payhour, basic pay is 8hr00, including meal. however, this driver does OT, so he gets 8hr39 instead of 8hr10.
Duty 87A means the bus does overnight parking. Since 225W doesnt do jump bus its quite straightforward. Meaning the bus itself does overnight parking.Originally posted by TWS4793:Wake this topic up to prevent thread expiration.

OT is u choose urself or they allocate for u one..?Originally posted by service_238:Duty 87A means the bus does overnight parking. Since 225W doesnt do jump bus its quite straightforward. Meaning the bus itself does overnight parking.
1.
se = sbst east district, also means sw for west district, super old timesheets have hg, bn (i.e after the depot names) and sc = central district (amdep and brbp)
808 is the bus number assigned to it. Means the number follows the bus during the whole day, regardless of whether different driver drives the bus or whether the bus does another service. 8xx is Aircon SD, 9xx is Aircon DD, 0xx is NAC SD, 1xx is NAC DD, 2xx is Gassies, 3xx is B9/WAB, 7xx means the bus will cross to another service or something. Commonly found on CT services and Citybuzz services. 88x/89x is Aircon SD xover, 98x/99x is Aircon DD xover.
2. Payhour is calculated using the numbers 8 and 1.5. It was explained in the forum before. Standard hours are 8h, anytime after 8h is known as OT. A BC can only do up to 70 hours OT per month.
0547 - 1347 = 8 hours
1347 - 1413 = 26 min
26 min * 1.5 = 39 min
You will get 8h39 for payhour
There should be a line: TRAVEL bndep 0547, before the first trip. But actual fact i think the BC no need to go to the depot to report.
Here's another example:
Start from depot at 0543hrs, change shift at 1629hrs.
0543 - 1343 = 8 hours
1343 - 1629 = 166 min
166 min * 1.5 = 249 min = 4 hours 9 min
Payhour will be 12h09.
You can just flip over the timesheet since you "have a hand at my first timesheet today"
if u're on duty the you have to do the OT. You think driver good life ah work zun zun 8 hour then stop work. then u will see alot of buses having poor frequency.Originally posted by patdog112:OT is u choose urself or they allocate for u one..?
SMRT ad wrote 5 day a week work isit real?
OT depends on the duty. Different duties have different running time. So they have different Payhour.Originally posted by patdog112:OT is u choose urself or they allocate for u one..?
