windows that can be openedOriginally posted by Scania:Which bus doesn't have windows?
SMRT easier to distinguish...CAC Hispano mercs have rooftop aircon units...with the exception of TIB741C and TIB779U, which has underfloor a/c. Also, their windows were not refitted like that of the SBST, therefor some windows can still be opened...but most are locked with screws and bolts.Originally posted by Y_Shun:windows....inside the interior is grey.

Depending on which depot are the buses in, AMDEP buses, most of them you can open windows. KJDEP and WLDEP not so much, especially KJDEP use silicon go and block that area where the windows slide.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:SMRT easier to distinguish...CAC Hispano mercs have rooftop aircon units...with the exception of TIB741C and TIB779U, which has underfloor a/c. Not necessary. Many CAC O405s have TV Mobiles too.Originally posted by kenn3th:meaning the grey interior is the one that's modified? no wonder most of those greys do nt have tv mobile

Those new seats installed in the CAC buses often crack easily compared to those OACs..Originally posted by stooper:Not necessary. Many CAC O405s have TV Mobiles too.
The OAC buses have purple A/C paneling but the CACs don't.
The OACs also has a different type of seats, the OAC seats are the older type are are flat at the back, with metal poles at the edges extending upwards to form the grip on top of the seat. The metal grip is then wrapped with a layer of rubber (plastic?)
The CAC ones have newer seats and have a pattern at the back of the seat. The grip on top of the seat is fully rubber and is screwed onto the seat.
So I find the CAC seats have slightly smaller legroom!![]()
obvious panels that looks like windows, not big large glasses...zzOriginally posted by Scania:Which bus doesn't have windows?
Obviously your post dint state what windows they are, so I have the rights to assume that its an unopenable window. Explain your points clearly.Originally posted by Y_Shun:obvious panels that looks like windows, not big large glasses...zz
If you do open the windows, make sure you do it under the bus driver's nose, though - I once got screwed by a bus driver when I opened the window on board a CAC MB O405.Originally posted by Scania:Depending on which depot are the buses in, AMDEP buses, most of them you can open windows. Wonder whats happening to SMRT BCs?Originally posted by eX.A.K.R.:If you do open the windows, make sure you do it under the bus driver's nose, though - I once got screwed by a bus driver when I opened the window on board a CAC MB O405.
Some of SMRT's CAC MB O405 also seem to have screws inside the window catch, which prevents them from being released, and hence the window from being opened.
But luckily CAC Nissan the window never fully lock... Still can open a bit... If driver scold, you scold back the A/C hopeless...Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:But did you open the window for a long time? If you did so, then its your fault.![]()
