Looks like 30 min bus freq is on the cards
I hope SBS can step up Sv 10, 16 and 196's fleet esp 196.. SMRT dun want to earn $$, SBS should just take hold of the advantage -
nissans roof quite low.. also cant really accomodate much standing passengers..
608 off peak load also quite low..
although, its freq is quite good -

If the demand is not good, they at least make it into a peak hour service, then they won't lost too much.
Maybe SBST can amend svc 16 to Bedok and convert it into a non loop svc. But Scania N113CRB may be used on svc 16. -

SMRT is LYING! their Execs nev take 608, the svc is a profitable route, esp morning and evening peak periods. i have written to Forum online but was politely rejected! GOD! wats the world comin 2? I used to purposely take CSS 605 from sin ming rd to bt merah during free times and holidays, during the last day of 605, i took one of the last bus and i talk to the uncle, he showed me how to press the digital display......
CSS buses(esp hino & nissan) are like my "best friends", when i feel sad, i will look at their pics, go and visit them. Loving them like i love my family...... -

SPH = SMRT = Government-Staked Companies. Well before election Ass-M-Mati will give you Bendies to ride upon on previously CAC Nissan services. After election they will remove such bus services. Simple. -

Look at 307, once the matter became polticise, SMRT just have to give in
