SBS1688K, from Toa Payoh (1714hrs) to Sengkang Int (1817hrs).
Took this bus yesterday.
SBS9889U, along Upp Thomson Rd (Twrds Ang Mo Kio), spotted it yesterday at about 1732hrs.
SBS2779A from Sengkang Int (1826hrs) to Yio Chu Kang Rd (Opp Blk 139), 1845hrs.
SBS2779A, spotted it at about 1103hrs today, towards Sengkang along YCK Rd. -
SBS 2812L on Service 54 AND TIB 1034D on Service 190
Around 1515 hrs to 1530 hrs during weekdays. -

b) Make sure that no bus is blocking your view.
c) If no bus is blocking your view, check all roads including the smaller roads that go out to North Bridge Road.
d) If there are no vehicles, quickly cross the road.
Same thing applies to when you're going back to the main pavement, except that you need to make sure that the bus is not at the bus bay. -

For Boon Lay, depends on your luck but usually you would get to ride one of them if you are at the right timing. The other time I rode SBS8034 and SBS8035 on 174, i was lucky to get onboard them. -
