Weird, No destos on SBS 9840 but with passengers

  I took this bus on 090307 at around 845pm outside suntec city. Boarding and alighting was as per normal.However when it stopped opp marina square bus stop, he removed all destos (front n side) n continued its journey. At first I didnt know but slowly as the bus pass by, I realise no one gets up the bus at all. Only alighting. When I alighted at Serangoon, I saw the front n side destos were gone. Only left lighted lights.
  
  Anyone had similar experience b4?

  The BC wants to go home early? 'Lazy' to pick up passengers? Or really something happened?

  i encounter before. got one time i take 136, the bus was behind schedule due to an accident. so the bus driver removed the destoes and passengers were only allowed to alight, no boarding

  today i waited for 147 at serangoon mrt.
  
  instead of coming from serangoon central, i saw the bus came straight from upp serangoon..
  
  since its empty i thought it wasnt in service.. but someone else waved n we all boarded...
  
  i was like wtf? but it got me to my destination anyway.

  The bus was prob way behind schedule, so BC had no choice but to take off destos to only alighting, but no boarding.

  more like the bus was behind schedule when it reached hougang central that it had to do a downtrip from Serangoon to Clementi in order to catch back the timing.
  
  usually it occurs when the bus is way behind schedule say more than 10 or 15min.

  You checked the BC's timetable? That's because if destos are removed in one part of the journey, you need to be suspicious about it.

  I was on 105 on a SBS474S. The air-con was spoilt ... and the interior was damn hot. I was perspiring all over.
  
  So he removed the destos at the busstop at Commonwealth MRT bustop. But during the journey some assholes just waved at the bus. Bo Bian the Bus Captain must stop and let them in (because the back desto was still present =) ).
