its not the normal a/c u see in VO 3 axle...
but additional aircons(those u install in your bedrooms) added =p. -
The bus, sponsored by SBS Transit & furnished by Ikea will be parked at Ikea Tampines until 8th April 2007.
It will then be driven to Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre before moving on to the HDB heartlands. In all, it will make 36 stops. -

When you want to talk about a double deck bus that goes thru' real conversion into an air-conditioned buses, a lot of modifications have to be done, including installation of a huge air-con compressor, electrical components to be tweaked, etc.
What ex-SBS7297R had is just a form of retro-fitting. -

On the emergency exit side, there is an additional louver above the normal grille.
Like what Y-Shun said, I think they just anyhow install into the interior, like the CSS183U Roving Bus.
