Again, this can be bus memory lane. BIH only provides the deployment by rego, which is the MS Excel document, now make it easier, by service.
From what I know:
Service 315:
_____ - Sept 2004 Mercedes-Benz O405 (DM, WA, CAC DM, NAC DM)
Sept 2004 - now Volvo B10M Mark IV (DM3500, WA Strider)
____ - ____ Scania N113CRB (NAC)
Sept 2004 - now Volvo B10M Mark III

31st July 2005-June 2006: 3668E 3693G with majority fleet of Merz 0405s WA and DM OACs.
July 2006 - date: Full fleet Merz 0405 WA and DM OAC.
During the timeline i got an increase in fleet from 7 to 10 -
Sv. 99
In the beginning (198
- Mercedes O305, short period. Replaced fully by Leyland Olympian 2x by mid-year.
1989-1990 - Leyland Oympian 2x fleet replaced by full MB OF1413 with the occasional MB OF1417, possibly on cameo. No DDs during this period.
1990 - Return of the DDs with about half of the fleet comprising of Leyland Atlanteans (Metsec/L-type/R-type). The other half were made up of Volvo B57. Occasional cameos of Volvo B10M Mk-II.
1993 - Old Leylands phased out, only the R-type remained. Svc became PAC with the AC fleet made up of Volvo B10M Mk-III.
1995 - ADDs made its debut with the Volvo Olympian 3x.
1997 - Atlanteans withdrawn. Remaining NAC buses were worked by Volvo Olympian 2x.
1998 - Svc became FAC. Fleet now comprised of Volvo Olympian 3x and Volvo B10M Mk-IV Strider. B10M DM3500, B10M Mk-III and Leyland Olympian 3x are also frequently spotted and sometimes a Volvo B10M Mk-II CAC will make an appearance. -
Svc. 242
In the beginning (1990) - Mercedes OF1417. As the only connection to Boon Lay MRT at the time, loads were overwhelming and soon they had a full fleet of Leyland Olympian 2x. Svc. 242 was the third feeder svc. to have a full DD fleet after 334 and 240.
Svc turned PAC in dunno what year. AC buses made up of MB O405 DM OAC. LO2x gradually withdrawn in 2000-01, now, full fleet of MB O405. -

1998 - 2002?: Used MK3s, LO3x and VO3x.
2002 - 2004?: Used MK3, MK4s, and VO3x
2004 - Now: VO3x and VSOs -

Around mid 06: The last 2 Scanias, 3668E and 3693G went to BNDEP 8 and replace by 272H and 517C. -

as for the VO3X, I did remember of the full flush of 925X ever being deployed on 99 at the start since 1995.
the 2 or 3 LO3X on 99 were removed at around late 2000 or 2001 i think.
nowadays, the MK 3s are considered to be more of cameos rather than perms. but striders and DM3500s are still fixed for the SD fleet of 99. -

Service Turned PAC in mid 1999 - MB 0405 WA ( 164L . 166G , 234T , 264G , 183G ) Lo2x remained
Mid 2000 - After MB 0405 started to become CAC , then the day after svc 172 withdrawn from SBS , 3914U became CAC overnight and joined 242 the next day pem . then followed by 3750A . then the 0405 WA all went to svc 334 and became perm till now . Then MK2 CAC took their positions ( 1772A 1703A 1706S 1700H and a few more ) . 242 had Lo2x overs from svc 179 , 482T came into svc 242
2001/ Late 2002 - Mk2 started to dissappear and 3914U & 3750A were transfered to svc 334 , then 3755L & 3863H CAC from svc 79 came in together with 3783E 3820G 315T 340U 341S , Lo2x started to get replaced
2003 - 242 had its first Superbus ( 9128H) to x-over with TV - Mobile AD
& 113J was the last A/C bus to replace the Last Lo2x remaining on svc 242 , SBS 7183K
2004 - 276Y came in & Full A/C X-overs from svc 179 , with occasional MK2 NAC cameos .
2005 - Vo2x started to cameo . All A/C buses remained perm till now . 3820G promoted from S-shift to A/P shift .
2006 - 242 had its Vo2x Night Crossover from svc 255 , Occasional Mk4 DM3500 & SC cameo . SBS 1900Y cameod for 341S on A/P shift the first time b4 transfering out of SLBP
2007 - so far nothing ..

Turning back the time further back, from old photographs, before 178 was handed to TIBS in 1983, there was at least 1 Mercedes LP1113 and a Leyland Atlantean used. During the early TIBS era, it had a full fleet of Nissan U31S, which were my fave. These buses remained until they were phased out in the early 1990s.Originally posted by ahlunjia:178 :-

99 originally started as a loop service between Jurong East and Boon Lay Garden and it follows the exact route as today. The only difference being that it returned via Boon Lay Dr. Mercedes OF1413 were used. I don't know what happened exactly but it is possible that 99 merged with 76, whose route then was between Jurong East-Clementi. Regarding the extension into Jurong West St 91, I'm not sure if it occured later or concurrently with the route merger. That was when I followed my parents to select our new flat. I also remembered that the O305 was used on 334 too. Unfortunately, I don't know which depot they come from. -

More to 852. Service started in 1986. Buses used were the Hino RK and the Nissan U31SCN, one of which had A/C. 2000 - Hispano Merc fleet, 1049L joined on 18 June 2000 (Launch of Habits)

Jan 2001 - (Depot transfer to WLDEP) TIB 1001 Z, TIB 1046 U, TIB 1063 U, TIB 1111 P

Introduced June 24, 2001
2001 - TIB 446 E, TIB 485 S, TIB 587 G, TIB 593 M, TIB 726 Y, TIB 830 D
2003 - Started to get weekend bendy cameos, e.g. 1222C, 1225U (sv 963)
Jan 2004 - Became full bendy fleet, including 1242U, 1244P
Few weeks later, 1242U and 1244P are replaced by 1184D and 1188T.
Fleet increment from 6 to 10 (during peak hour), then down to 8.
2006 / 2007: 2 rigids will replace 2 bendies which will go cameoing on other services. -
Monday 2nd August 2004: Addition of SBS 0112 L Duty 16E into 238 fleet from 232 (232 had fleet reduction), total fleet size 9. SBS 0032 J promoted to full day Duty 7A/14P from former Duty 14E.Originally posted by choww:To add on..

Monday 7th March 2005: SBS 0345 G finally appeared as perm on S238 17S
Monday 14th March 2005: SBS 0345 G left the fleet for hgdep 100 after it got its new Asahi ad. Not sure of replacement yet as 17S got a full week of cameos again.
Monday 21st March 2005: SBS 0176 C from S70 with that pink Sanyo ad came in to replace SBS 0345 G 17S.

Service 178 when converted to PAC service in 1995 had MB0405 OAC buses, together with occasional Nissan U31 SCN CAC (TIB311K-TIB317U) and Hino HT328K CAC (TIB380K-TIB389L). DAFs were eventually used too. The NAC Nissans were withdrawn from service 178 when this service was a few to be converted to FAC in Feb 2007. When WLDEP came into control in 1998/1999, Scania WAs entered into service 178's fleet. DAFs were eventually withdrawn after WLDEP gained full control on service 178. The NAC Nissan U31 SCNs reappeared on service 178 once again after service 178 revert back to PAC in Sept 1999, the NAC Scania ELBOs were also deployed on service 178.
In year 2001 onwards, service 178 then became a full Scania fleet with occasionally OAC Nissan cameos. This deployment lasted till 2004 when all the Scanias were eventually replaced by Nissans (OAC and the new additions of CAC Nissans from CSS). In 2006 service 178 became a full Nissan fleet. -
Not to forget service 82 since SBST took over the operations from Tibs in 1999...
Service 82 were inititally made up of MK2 CAC, MK3, and MK4 (all variants) SD buses. VO3x and VSO were later deployed on service 82 too. Dennis Tridants also appeared on service 82 before.
When service 82 cutback to Serangoon in 2003, it used MB0405 buses and Scania N113 CRB CAC buses for a short period of time. Eventually changed back to Volvo SD AC fleets in 2004.
NAC Volvo MK2 buses later made an appearance on service 82, somehere in 2005-2006.

If I am not mistaken, most of the Clementi routes were under Jurong depot in the 1980s. Remembered service 96 and Clementi feeders used the MB OF1413 Soon Chow buses at that time. And I remember ever seeing what I recognise today as a Volvo B57 on route 238 more than a decade ago.
