Hmm..interesting. I've always thought that the Toa Payoh feeders were all fully controlled by the Leyland Victory, my fave. I've rode them on many occasions when visiting my relatives there. 231, 232, 235, 237, 238...all used them. Add to the fact that the Victory were all based at Braddell, they were very often seen on Toa Payoh services. I guess the B57 was brought as a stop gap measure before the Scanias gained full control.

1999-2000: Scania NAC, CAC and Merz OAC mixture. (208U 226S 390A to name a few) due to conversion of NAC to CAC for the Scanias
2001-18th May 2002: Scania CAC full fleet and one 3605L
19th May 2002-2004: Scania CAC full fleet and one 32J
2004-29th July 2005: Scania CAC full fleet and one WA Merz (112L later 201M)
30th July 2005: Scania half fleet with cameos like goodness knows what
31st July 2005-June 2006: 3668E 3693G with majority fleet of Merz 0405s WA and DM OACs.
July 2006 - date: Full fleet Merz 0405 WA and DM OAC.
During the timeline i got an increase in fleet from 7 to 10 -
From what I remember.
199
1997 - Merc OAC (286T, 340U, 341S) and LO2x. The LO2x x-overed to 242 and 255 in the peaks too.
2001 - All the perm LO2x put on 179. Then 199 given some other LO2x and CAC MK2s.
2003 - When LO2x withdrawn, 199 was given LO3x, 2 Mercs and it was left with 2 NAC MK2s (1738A & 1791U).
2005 (I think) - MK2s swapped with Mercs (373A and one more merc) to become SPs and then the MK2s transfered out of SLBP
2005 (I think) - 363D and 369M swapped places so 369M became 502 perm.
2007 - 3905X & 373A swapped places so 3905X became 199 perm.
I dunno when the 243 x-overs started though...

When service 73 is amended to terminate in AMK interchange instead of looping at Serangoon North Ave 4 in 1994, the whole fleet switched to MB0405 NAC fleet. It was converted to PAC also in 1994 with AC MB0405s and subsequently became a FAC fleet in 1995. -

Volvo MK2 NAC buses were also used on service 107 during the Serangoon days too, together with LO2x, VO2x, NAC Scanias and MB0405s, all from AMDEP. Last day iof TIBS got a O.405 cameo, was like finally see a "normal" TIBS bus on 163. -

Last time before TIBS, SBS used Mk2s and Mk3s.
TIBS came, fleet was O.405 and Scania, but later 82 became a majority bendy service. 849, 872H were perms, think 860S also.
When SBS came back, dunno whats the inital fleet.
Before it got shortened, it had 9311U, 1688K, 9600K, 9650R, 9653H, 9685R, 9800A, the other buses forgotten. -

I missed those mercedes O405 in BNDepot . For those that doesnt know, yes once upon a time BNdepot has these buses , both WA and DM body (No NAC buses)
I can still remember the buses on certain services .
413 to 418 on svc 14
224 to 226 and 290 to 293 on svc 31
227-229 on svc 196
svc 16 (Marine Parade to Bukit merah, at that time was under BNdep)
210 or 212 (cant remember) to 223
svc 30 (180 - 18 and (284 to 287)
