why isiz dat when we take two buses wif same number (e.g. 179), there is no deduction of price like 25 cents?
any logic? different number buses they deduct, but same number no...
what if you drop off too early? do u have to walk all the way to ur destination? -

Taking buses of the same service number consecutively is not considered transfer (you don't transfer to the same bus number right?).
If you are running errands and spend only a short time at the destination, you may choose to another service number back to enjoy the 25 cents rebate (note that the time lapse between alighting and boarding should be within 45 mins, after which transfers rebate are not applicable). Of course, this can only work if you have alternative services to choose from. -

now we have bus fare cap..
that time i travelled half of singapore, from clementi to eunos and back to ang mo kio on 4 buses.. fare only $1.90..
seriously good bargain
btw, years back, i took 315 and drop at interchange. after bout 20 mins, took back 315....
got the transfer rebate -

Normally I don't tap when getting out, so last time (before I had bus pass), I got off the bus to do something. Then later, when I went back to the bus stop to take the other direction (it's a loop service), just nice the first bus I take finish its loop and coming back. So I take the bus and when I tap at front entrance, it pretends I have just exited instead! So it just charged be 45cents and not 90cents...

.. that time i use bus pass take 400.. i never tap when alight.. reboarded same bus after a few hours.. says "PASS USAGE, CARD VALUE: $5.55"
now cannot liao...
