Well, apparently there are 12m B7L double-decks. 12m B7TLs do not exist though.Originally posted by ZYX2005:excuse me ALlllllllllll
i thot UK got such things as B7TL bus? B7TL means DD b7 btw
stndard b7 chsis is about 10.1m to 10.9m around there. no such thing as a 12m B7 bus.
Not trueOriginally posted by Y_Shun:i hope in future sbst can buy some bendies...
sometimes people just dun wnt to climb up to the upper deck cuz short distance....
think bendy is better alot as ppl are willing to walk to the back.
But I think this service will be withdrawn/shortened when CCL opens, and is 93's load that good either?Originally posted by swee_heng:At least if SBST buys more new buses , the fleets of 93 will be increased , seriously i think that 93 should be controlled by ARBP + BRBP so that there will be enough buses , how i wish to see Merz WA , OAC CAC & Scanias on 93!
The VO is B9TL, right? B9TL got D9A which is Euro III, but also got Euro4 D9B engine.Originally posted by sbst275:Though they might be the dist for Volvo Buses here...
But it does not mean they have to die die purchase Volvo chassis for SBS buses...
Let's say now they decide to purchase a mix of DDs and SDs to replace the CRBs. Volvo right now cannot supply the VO cos it's Euro3 std, so they might just have to look for other manufacturers like Scania
Seriously, why withdraw?Originally posted by SBS9806J:But I think this service will be withdrawn/shortened when CCL opens, and is 93's load that good either?
Erm you cant say that a VO is a B9TL. But you can say that a B9TL is a VO. If you say that a VO is a B9TL, that makes the older VO3x a B9TL.Get what i mean?Originally posted by Raraken:The VO is B9TL, right? B9TL got D9A which is Euro III, but also got Euro4 D9B engine.
And I thought that B9 superseded the B7?
Is it?Originally posted by Raraken:The VO is B9TL, right? B9TL got D9A which is Euro III, but also got Euro4 D9B engine.

CCL? Circle Line?Originally posted by SBS9806J:But I think this service will be withdrawn/shortened when CCL opens, and is 93's load that good either?
Yes.Originally posted by swee_heng:CCL? Circle Line?
So what if there's a business partnership between the 2 organisations? It doesn't have to mean that SBS Transit must 'die die' purchase Volvo buses! Even if SBS Transit purchases Volvo buses, that doesn't mean it's due to the dealing that they have!Originally posted by MitEvolution:i think they will buy back volvo because they got bussiness realationship.Comfortdelgo has been the exclusive distributor for Volvo.Comfortdelgo also build buses for private company
The reason why Volvo named it as Volvo Olympian is due to some unknown reasons. I shall say that we should call the Volvo B9TL as Volvo B9TL.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Erm you cant say that a VO is a B9TL. But you can say that a B9TL is a VO. I dont think the B9 superseded the B7 (except for the B7TL). Otherwise that makes the B7RLE being superseded as well. I dont think Volvo will stop the production of the B7R and B7RLE yet as its sales figures are quite good. The B7TL however, is superseded by the 2-axle version of the B9TL. Theres already a a 2-axle B9TL running in the UK.
Irisbus and Neoplan? Haha... Dude... do you know how much they cost, in terms of Singapore dollars?Originally posted by busmanic:hope they can bring in irisbus and neoplan demos![]()
And prepare for bus fares to go up by 50%.Originally posted by busmanic:hope they can bring in irisbus and neoplan demos![]()
I didnt know the figures. But Volvo claims that their B7RLE/B7R was selling well.Originally posted by SBS9816E:The reason why Volvo named it as Volvo Olympian is due to some unknown reasons. I shall say that we should call the Volvo B9TL as Volvo B9TL.
The Volvo B9TL, in some senses, is replacing the Volvo B10TL (VSO). Anyway Mr Scania... how would you know that sales firgures for certain Volvo vehicles are good?! Did you go to the company and look at their sales records, or did u make an ASS out of U and ME?
Erm is it above 350k ?Originally posted by SBS9816E:Irisbus and Neoplan? Haha... Dude... do you know how much they cost, in terms of Singapore dollars?
Common Sense.. Marketing skills.. Who will not say that their product is selling well ? Would you say that ur product is not selling well ?Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:I didnt know the figures.
