  wow, each bus is $350,000, around as much as a B10BLE-CNG and at least 50% more than our B10M's.

  I think that cost is almost equivalent to the Habit bendy bus .

  IMO i'm not so surprised that SBST decided to buy new buses,Look at the condition of it's fleet majority,Oldschool types ones.

  I suppose they didnt use Volvo due to the problems with engine noise, same reason as why TfL had to avoid using B9s for bus operators in london. Also, if these buses are to arrive by July, it is highly possible for the vehicles to use Volgren bodyworks, as some bus fans from hkitalk has stated.

  ComfortDelgro is attract to the new 5 cylinder K95UB due to its fuel-economy,cheaper spare parts(From Scania SG),But i forsee that they will buy Volvo SDs as well.The B9L is the obvious choice but due to its engine placing at the rear they need to figure out how to arrange the seats at the rear

  It is even more possible for them to use their own bodywork or Soon Chow (or collaboration betwen ComfortDelgro and Soon Chow), since they have designed buses before, like B9TLs and B7R Coaches.
