Accident or Breakdown Thread (Apr 2007 - Jun 2007)

Yeah...I was rather angry with the lorry driver for not looking first before he turns. Served him right for having a wrecked lorry but i pity the B9TL and the bus captain who i saw was abit shaken after the accident. I am sure there are alot of witness to the accident but i may have the only point of view of the accident from the bus (besides the bus captain) since it was a busy juntion. After the accident, i just cant locate the lorry. Maybe he just drove to another place for negotiations.

It was rather ironic. 3mins after the accident. I saw a neighbourhood policecar which happens to pass by the bus but did not stop.I don't think the news crew came (or you would have seen it on the news) as it was a "minor" one compared to other crash as no one was injured. The bus was blocking the juntion for 2mins then i moved off to a safer but still rather dangerous exit of a slip road.

oversized. and police cars NEVER STOP becoz minor incident. if no news crew means nobody took the initiative to call the news crew to come =/

9013E was scrapped long ago! It definitely wasn't the bus that had a n accident a few days ago... -

Details:
1. SBS 1792S was supposed to be going for renevue service on Service 66 when it suffered a major problem: the door refused to close.
2. As a result, it had to be slowly driven back to BNDEP for repairs.
3. There was some confusion about who to go first (between SBS 1792S and SBS 7413Y on Townlink 222). -

2 buses collide along Lower Delta Road
29-year-old engineer, Steve Teo, was in bus 32 along Lower Delta Road, when it hit double decker bus 65 in front.
He then took this picture at about 9 am yesterday (14 May), and sent it to STOMP.
The stunned contributor said, "the bus was actually not speeding, it just did not brake in time".
No one was seriously injured, and the passengers were given complimentary tickets to board another bus.

1. SBS 0790D was on Townlink 293 when it broke down at the bus stop outside my school.
2. The engine was still idling when I saw it broke down. A triangle sign was placed a few metres away from the bus.

Service: 66 (Cameo Bus, Originally 30e/222 BNDEP)
Location: Block 506, Bedok North Avenue 3
Date: 17 May 2007
Time: 1549hrs
Summary Of Accident/Breakdown: Currently Unknown
Details:
1. SBS 2601D was cameoing on Service 66 when it broke down at the bus stop at Block 506, Bedok North Avenue 3.
2. The warning triangle was placed a few metres behind the bus.
3. SBS 3666K (45 BNDEP) replaced SBS 2601D.
Yeah, SBST=Si Beh Suay Today. Two BNDEP buses broke down in just a single day alone and both are some of my favourite buses

TIB1002X broke down at Bukit Timah Road bus stop around 1800hrs today, EDS were all switched off
