SBS3621P (sv 265) broke down at bus stop along AMK Ave 8 (opposite the former AMK Temp/Temp NTUC) at around 8 am this morning with breakdown sign. -
Bus: TIB 0550L
Service: 67
Location: Block 147, Tampines Avenue 5
Date: 30 May 2007, Wednesday
Time: 1413hrs (Witness Time)
Summary of accident/breakdown: Flat battery/Flat tyre
Details:
1. TIB 0550L was on Service 67 when it broke down at the bus stop at Block 147, Tampines Avenue 5.
2. Apparently, no warning triangle was placed behind the bus, however, SMRT technicians were seen walking towards the left side of the bus (looking from back).
3. Conclusion: Suspected Flat battery or Flat tyre

Service: 225W
Location: Block 512, Bedok North Street 3
Date: 30 May 2007, Wednesday
Time: 1845hrs (Witness Time)
Summary of accident/breakdown: Currently Unknown
Details:
1. SBS 0609X was serving on feeder Service 225W for PM Peak Shift when it broke down at the bus stop at Block 512, Bedok North Street 3.
2. It was unclear how it broke down.
3. According to the BC driving SBS 3603S on Service 225W (was perm driver for SBS 3721J actually) today, he claimed it was an engine overheat that caused it but I was not too sure.

Date: 30 May 2007, Wednesday
Time: 2142hrs (Witness Time)
Summary of accident/breakdown: Suspected door failure (Actual reason not known)
Details:
1. SBS 7435J was on Service 76 when it broke down opposite Mandarin Gardens at Siglap Road.
2. No warning triangle was placed. The lights were still switched on but without passengers and the BC.
3. Conclusion: Probably broke down. Door may have failed to operate smoothly.
Today SBS Transit SBST again. SBST=Si Beh Suay Today.
EDIT: SMRT also not spared too, it was worse than SBS Transit. -

u think the passengers going back to AMK from parkway parade will take the bus opposite parkway parade and go to siglap road and then pass by parkway parade again ah? waste of money and time only.

Please lah, that part of 16, 55, 76, 135, 155 has nearly no demand, looping point mah, all the passengers board at Marine Parade or Marine Cresent, weekdays you get students boarding from VS, VJC, St Pats, KC. If you board there, driver may ask you whether you can wait for a few minutes while he rest at the bus stop. -
SBS9214S(SL 179/SP*) broke down at Berth 3 inside Boon Lay Temp Int this morning.
Engine cover & the panel between BC cabin & validator were left opened. -
SBS7435J got breakdown meh???? i took it on wednesday at 10.15pm, the bus was ok wat....

Saw one Box Merz brokedown with Panadol Cold Relief ad. beside Woodlands CC. Supposedly it brokedown b4 its trip on its way to WRI as it was 6.5*am

2 weeks ago, I saw 3863H same problem, tilted to left (bus was not full to door). But the bus still could move and was in service.

TIB1251T brokedown near Woodlands CIQ yesterday. Engine failure or battery failure. The whole bus blacked-out before it broke down. One light bulb faulty. Is there somesort of 'bus short circuit' before.
SBS7375 had the top deck lights out. The top deck is blackout on 27th May. They must have fixed the problem by now. -
if a bus on top dun hav lights and power will the bus contiune to go interchange to park at the neaeast bus stop?

SBS7375 still kept going. Probably bus got wire disconnected or BC lazy to on top deck lights.
