How do you tell if a BNDEP bus is a perm on a particular service
I noe that BNDEP is very very lazy to update stickers
New markings on BNDEP buses are rather rare, esp those newer introduced services
(2007) markings i spotted:
SBS908H (BN 36) old 88 writing striked off
SBS2743C (BN 5) 5 scribed onto the window as well
SBS3668E (BN 5) 5 scribed onto the driver's window
SBS899A (BN 15) BB 33 stix written over with 15 in black ink, 15 service guide stuck to window
Old outdated markings
SBS9521E (BN SP) Sv 2 marking still there
SBS9805L (BN 12/534) 9 marking still there
SBS9806J (BN 65) 69 and C3 marking still there
SBS9350G (BN 65) Sv 30 marking still there
SBS9307H (BN 31) very old BN 30 marking still there
ACCORDING TO 9806J
Never seen or took before
SBS9242K (BN 19)
He tells me that there is an old HG 51 stix there, is it true? -
1. Is JB registered Volvo B10M Mark III have any full body ad or not. I know that last time it used to have ad like "Singtel 020'', ''M1 Malaysia'' and ''DBS 737'' that all I know.
2. Anyone can tell me what is the title of the ad on some DD buses with the slogan saying ''...it is ok if you miss the bus, just don't miss the boat''... -

SBS851L is a perm 81 (ex BN 5 and 69)
It has a 31 TP marking
SBS9521E is a Spare (ex BN 12)
SBS9404K is perm 168
SBS9819Y was supposedly perm 28
SBS2822H is a perm 5 (ex BN 81)
It has a cancelled off 65 marking and 81 marking over it -

To know more about BNDEP perms, this requires experience, simply because of BNDEP's laziness to update the stickers/markings. The first thing I would always see in the morning is at least one BNDEP bus. But it cannot be relied on just one person alone. That's why there are others who know BNDEP buses.
All the five buses you mentioned are spottings by others not me actually.
Some examples (adding on to your list):
Former perms, markings that were simply striked off
SBS 0069D (33 BNDEP) Former SP BNDEP. Even during it's days as a spare bus the 'SP' marking was not present.
Former perms and markings that were left to fade
SBS 0039R (SP BNDEP) Was former 229 BNDEP, but marking was still there.
SBS 0074M (42/68/SP BNDEP) Was former Service 19 (and TP1?) perm. The two markings, 'Sv19' and 'TP1' are still there.
SBS 9462S (168 BNDEP) Though it had a Service 168 cut out service guide but it still has the 'Sv21' marking if I'm not wrong.
SBS 9554K and SBS 9616R (Both SP BNDEP) Both have faded 'Sv196' markings.
Do correct me if you find mistakes in the info. I don't do bus spottings as frequently as you (bus fans) do. -

Another one, if you have looked at the website of the New Zealand bus dealer which bought 1836A, you would big 151 on the dash in the photo available on the website. -
At Yio Chu Kang Terminal, there are individual notices stating that each SBST services (13 70 72 76 162) there will be delayed due to traffic jam. was there on saturday i guess..
so was there any traffic jam? some more YCK services dont ply similar routes (eg. 70, 162 may had jams at marina) etc -

Does TIB838H have a working speed limiter ? Took it on 188 ytd nite and its like , chionged much faster than other box bendies . Engine scream until like want to explode .

The only time I had similar experience was with Habit, 1027A, downhill sections, the BC just keep on stepping on accelerator until engine max out and in fact no 'work' is done by engine, bus is just accelerating more via gravity. Question: How much fuel does a bus carry?
What I thought: Can 'tahan' one full day with a tank? And plus its like burning so much fuel due to load and so on...
Only time I ever thought I saw a bus run dry of fuel is TIB520Z, on former service 989, it stopped at outside BB Int with triangle and a then-TIBS maintenance pickup is in front, with some fuel tanks on it. Would it be able to refuel anyway like that? -
