any ideas why SMRT withdraw 989?... 989 bring cck/bp residents the west resident to far east area while the 985 oni bring people to geylang ( still a distance away from east )? Isit ridership or some other reasons?

TIBS withdrew 989 probably because SMRT wants them to take the MRT. and also , by right 185 was extended to Geylang Lor 1 and renumbered as 985. So thats how the reasons behind the merger of 989 and 185. -

May I know which other bus services other than the shuttle service to get to Biopolis?

Amend to ply Bt Batok West Ave 5.
Then amend back to ply Bt Batok West Ave 7 on alternate trips and call them 985W (they even dare to market it as *new* service)

Is the rear design of a Scania K230UB similiar to those of Merc DM (OAC and CAC)? I spotted one in BNDEP yesterday evening but could not confirm whether it's a Merc DM or the new Scania K230UB. The bus was parked in full view of the general public in BNDEP and I could see it right from the Service 17 bus I was on.

Anyone knows if PZ7668B is auto or manual?

i'd monitoring the loads of svc 302 during morning peak (ard 8am++) and feel its a bit of waste to deploy 100% bendies during the morning crush. svc 300 is understandable as its heavily loaded.
What about the load for svc 302 during (6-7am++)? -

I was at pasir ris and saw some of the feeder buses there has got the sign "To interchange only". Anyone knows the purpose of putting up those sign?

townlink services were originally created by combining two feeder services into one, allowing people to only pay the fare for one trip instead of two, and also saves the hassle of alighting and changing buses at the interchange. -

I'm a daily rider of Sv 302 during AM Peak. Actually the load is more from the CCK Cres to Yew tee MRT and after that the load is slightly normal , but at times its also packed until CCK Int during 6-7am period.
As compared to 300 , yes I agreed with you , the load is slightly more then 302
