Hi, can anyone tell me more about how bus captains work?
As in their schedules, how long they are supposed to work.
And do they only stick to one route throughout their life, or they may switch here and there? -

Another question on timesheets.
I was on SBS 9452X on Service 28 today. I read the BC's timesheet. He's doing shift 28A today.
His shift starts at 0543 hrs from BNDEP and he starts one part of his journey from T1 > T2 at 0554 hrs and arrives at Toa Payoh at 0732 hrs. I calculated tht his whole journey lasted 1h 38 min. He had a 10 minute break (TPY) before going back to Tampines.
Now the question here is, I was surprised to see that the BC had to do OT. His A Shift stretches till after 1600 hrs, something I had never seen before. Usually timesheets would write something like '1546 amdep' (that's for BC driving SBS 0550E on Service 22 doing A Shift two days ago), however, after 1600hrs for A Shift would be too surprising (just used this word as I'm currently a novice to timesheets). Is such a situation rare? -
1. Anyone know what is SBS73R first perm service before it was been refustubied and was perm on Service 3?
2. I notice that BNDEP has lots of Scania N113CRB (NAC). DO you think they may go to like ARBP for example so that those Scanias will replaced the Mark IIs on ARBP services for eg. Service 95.
3. Wonder if Boon Lay Int inside the office still got the guides or not... -
What is the fastest way by buses from SMRT AMDEP to Woodlands Ave 4.

any body has detailed info about UD nissan..? as in their plate numbers and types of nissan on the road now?

tintinspartan knows it all about UDs that are TIB-registered. He rode on every single UD from WLDEP before CSS handover. He knew what ads do they use to adorn and what mechanical problems they face. Well, he told me about them a few months ago and he said that TIB370P and TIB368Y are the first UD OACs to have a full body advertisement after CSS. He told me that TIB369U has a highly tuned engine and TIB1253 which still adorn the old ad since CSS days but was removed recently.

Assuming he starts at 0543 and ends at approximately 1630, his payhour would be around 12h11. Seldom see A shifts with such long payhours. P shifts with 11h+, 12h+ payhours are more common. -
Long A shift hours are not as common as long P shift hours. long A shift hours means change shift after 4pm. long P shift is start before 1.30pm.
S28 bndep and brbp the first few buses from the terminating point change shift very late due to the journey time and the P shift block. There's only 1 reason why the A shift has to change late - the P shift runs until after 1am. This means at least 5 trips for the P shift and a standard 6 trips for the A shift.
Another example is S105, S30 or any other long haul trunk routes that has at least 1h 30min journey time during OFF PEAK hours. -

TIB1253 still has the Power Dekor ad. Not sure if removed or not bcoz haven't seen it recently -
