Jurong East Int is now WAB friendly for 51

Just now when i was at Jurong East Int , i was flabbergasted that 105 has exchanged it parking lots with 51 and the last parrking lot has a wheelchair sign and its floor is straight out to 51's parking , which means that PIWs now canb take 51 from Jurong East Int without any fear. Hope they do this to Woodlands Int.

WRI is hopeless. Anyway if you try making the floor flat, I think duiring the construction period the buses would be lining up at a pathetic berth to let passengers alight

And I believe that 51 & 105's parking are all along next to each other? So 51 is on the right (from wating area), and 105 is now on the left? -

When they exchange parking lot? I was only at Jurong East Int yesterday with 105 being the nearest to the WAB berth.

i wonder other interchanges like tampines, toa payoh and habourfront which have same style of alighting and boarding as sv 51 from jurong east will have to do this kind of upgrading?

because WRI is mainly SMRT buses and since when SMRT buses are wheelchair accessible? Heard that BNL would hav another new WAB service. They are doing the road and platform last week..

Since 51's berth is being swapped, i think its time it officially became WAB. But i guess it takes SBS Transit time to collate all the busstops that are wheelchair-accessible.
