For single digit, it's simple. '3' is pronounced as 'three'. Common sense right?Originally posted by SBS9806J:Which one sounds better: six nine or sixty-nine?
Ah 69 ah, nice number leh, but kids cannot know what 69 is .Originally posted by TWS4793:For single digit, it's simple. '3' is pronounced as 'three'. Common sense right?
For two digit numbers like 69, I would recommend 'sixty-nine'.
But for three digit numbers, I would recommend reading every digit. If it's Service 293, I pronounce it as 'Townlink two nine three'.
Then what? LETTER 3?Originally posted by LinYu:you usually say i take bus NUMBER 3 nbut not bus 3. the point is "NUMBER 3"![]()
