Thats because the B9TL / CNGs are low entry buses . They aren't low floor . Low floor buses like Citaro , B9L , OC500LF (not LE) have no steps . Its flat floor all the way .Originally posted by brotherchen1982:The meaning behind is my hate for B9/CNGs/Lances that step after the Exit doors, making people difficult to move in.![]()
Not all CNG buses in the world are low entry, please state the models properly.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Thats because the B9TL / CNGs are low entry buses . They aren't low floor . Low floor buses like Citaro , B9L , OC500LF (not LE) have no steps . Its flat floor all the way .
So far , the B9TL, Lances aren't the ones with the highest steps. The highest are the B7RLEs at Sentosa .
He should be referring to the Volvo B10BLEOriginally posted by Scania:Not all CNG buses in the world are low entry, please state the models properly.
There are CNG buses where tanks are underfloor.

why not i keep operating costs low by scrapping the NACs first and use their spare parts for the CACs regardless who retires earlier?Originally posted by SBS3688Y:alamak - dunno whether u misunderstood what i'm saying or not?
what i meant is instead of converting to AC those few MK 2 buses that are going to be scrapped (eg SBS1696L - already gone!) - why not leave these buses untouched and channel the effort to convert to AC those MK 2 buses that are amongst the last to be retired?
makes economical sense also isn't it?
ok - in other words;
instead of converting eg 10 buses to AC that got only eg 1yr lifespan left; why not leave these buses alone and convert the other 10 buses that got eg 3yr lifespan left?
