190? people always complain bus not enough for this service... -
There won't be any on 190 as the controlling depot doesn't have Nissan buses. I would think of displacement effect, depots which absorb the CSS buses will displace the extra buses.Originally posted by patdog112:what are your predictions..?

Took CSS189D on 853 on my way home today.
And I saw a CSS20-something on another 853 on the other direction at AMK Hub. Their SMRT livery looks newly pasted.
... moreover, for the past few weeks, the 853 fleet has been relatively unsteady. Dennis Lances are getting rarer and more Hispano OACs are in. -
CSS184S (OAC Nissan) in SMRT livery seen coming out from SMRT Bishan train depot today, it seems to be heading towards AMDEP

I saw at least 3 CAC Nissans being restickered & repainted,The driver cab are clean,Some steering are changed,Interior are wipe.

SMRT has pissed us off by using them as Training Buses.
I recognised the orange seats inside the SMRT livery buses.. Couldn't catch the rego though.. -
I saw a newly painted U31SCN off service near Yio Chu Kang last Monday. Can't see the plate number as I'm on a Volvo B10M DM3500, reg SBS2700 smthing, operating on 162.

SBS 2715J, SBS 2741H or SBS 2799S. If this bus has no TV Mobile, directly SBS 2799S. But, I would say, that most CSS buses will be in 853. I've seen 4 newly-painted CSS buses running here. CSS199A ---> TIB1249B [now WLDEP 178]

And its just too bad that the ex-CSS UD's regos will remain , they cannot be deregistered ..

They can't possibly change their regos due to the new Euro IV restrictions. At least it's better than having a water-leaked-old-smelly Mercedes -
The only thing I like of the Nissan U31RCNs is the aircon. So cold and some of the Nissan CACs, their windows could be opened as they aren't sealed.
Well, anyone seen any SMRT CACs(Converted Aircon Buses) with their windows unsealed?

I'm not sure but I saw, from far a Nissan U31RCN way back in 2006 at Kranji Depot! I'm not sure because I see only the buses' roof 'ventilator/shutter'. I think the bus os scrapped by now. Gotta go and investigate.
