This kind of Nissan deployment situation also happened on service 980 (under WLDEP Scania time slots) last year, from June to September. Service 882 once a while do have crossover Nissans from WLDEP
Services 920 and 921 ever had Nissan deployment before, Nov 2004 - Feb 2006.
Services 925 and 927 ever had Nissan buses during those days when KJDEP had Nissans under their control.
Got the feeling that service 975 may expect Nissans if Nissans are to go to KJDEP. -

Saw most of the ex CSS 608 buses being painted in SMRT livery and is being used as a shuttle service between Bishan depot and Bishan MRT. CSS180C and CSS196H are among those that were spotted on these shuttle routes.

Guess what? I saw a CSS bus in Kranji! It was CSS204R, still in CSS livery serving as a ferry service from Kranji MRT to Kranji Depot. It's a CAC by the way.

That's the last CSS bus I ever took! Don't relegate it to some dumb shuttle service - this bus, when I last took it, was a surprising well-maintained, fast, cool, and smooth bus - you would almost call it the anti-thesis of Nissans!Originally posted by TIB1018B:Do you mean CSS204T??

At first, SMRT deployed Nisaans on 961, 178, 981 and 187. In 2005 with the new CSS CACs joining SMRT Crew, the bus deployments were reshuffled and 961 stopped recieving Nissans in exchange for 178's Scania. 178's fleet is a full fledged UD service. 187 recieved Nissans but forms a minority. Now, 855, 852, 853, 178, 187, 980, 981 and 882 recieved Nissans. Common service to recieve more Nissans is 172. Remember some Hino NACs which used to operate on 172 and 175. I love those buses. Used to take them in 2001, but they are all gone by end of 2001. Pity

WLDEP used to dump several OAC Nissan buses as cameos on services 75, 167, 178, 187 and 961 in the past, other than perms on service 981. CAC Nissans when transferred over from CSS were also used on these services too. Services 920, 921 and 980 also started to have Nissans from WLDEP too. Looks like majority of these last batch of ex-CSS Nissans are used only for depot shuttle services in conjunction with the PA Lances. So far only spotted CSS185P, CSS203X and CSS205R put on revenue services. -

Could be possible but they are going to be deployed on non-major routes like 178 or 882.
