Dual operator status for 190?

its getting out of hand. the overcrowding on 190
we suggest SBStransit operate 190 hand in hnd with SMRTbsues. adding to the current SMRT bus fleet for 190. SBS can provide DDs to provide nice mix of buses on 190
this idea comes from the cross harbor dual operator services in HK. good freq good loads carried.
even better still this way SBStransit can steal SMRt pax n compete head to head with SMRTbuses.
and for god's sake PTC shd strt thinking bout easing the silly cross territorial rulings. jsut creating two monopoly that bullying us CAP LOCKERS posters like FORUM DUDE and others who re tahaning the situation

The HK cross harbour rt operation style (Except rts like 108 or those entirely new Western Crossing Rt) dun think can work here

i think is a good idea as it promotes competition. Do you mean they integrate the timetable? As in SMRT and SBST work together and operate one timetable, or both operate on their own timetables? See which bus come first? If like that, I think SBST sure win...

actually i m against the killing of smrt.
i thought that if u merge the SMRT n SBS to form one big bus co
all we get is monopoly then oops big bully to px by the all new BIG SBS.
furthermore merger means routes sure kanna cut. like 969 gone coz got 168 that type or 85 gone coz got 965.
one big company in singapore dun think is best solution for the problems now. my stnd is competition. which is the main idea in this topic.

no separate timetable. is competition u see. if both the Bee gao (SBS) come n the bendybus (SMRT) come...the thing is u get to CHOOSE. once we can choose it means competition is rife!
for example in HK i chose on the dual route 104 the KMB enviro 500 over the NWFB Lo

If SBS Transit gets to compete head-on with $MRT (from now, it would be $M-MATI
), SBS Transit is definitely going to pull out all it's tops to make sure they flatten $M-MATI here. I can already imagine SBS Transit transferring all their low-floor double-deck buses to route 190, and seeing Dennis Tridents and Volvo Super Olympians (SBS 9889U included) running alongside the B9TLs. Very likely, they would put something like 42 double-deck buses and 8 single-decks on that route, with 25 to 35 of the double deck buses being B9TLs.
$M-MATI will then sure panic, and try to increase the number of buses on route 190 themselves - but they will all be Nissans . -

they can let SBST run a route close enough, using Pending/Rd/Jelebu Rd, and Choa Chu Kang Way.

I'm againts over SBST monopoly the bus lines,Just like already win before races start,No competition at all,Look at the job industries,Govt asked local to compete with foreigners and you tell me why can't SMRT Buses have their share of pie??Shortage of buses is the reason. -
190 has like 1min frequency during evening peak(witness it myself)
