In this case.. i did NOT say SMRT INterchanges and Terminals are not DD friendly. Get it right. yes. I did mentioned about Facilities. In this case, i was referring to their Depots. If you are talking abotu interchange, YIS is the only problematic interchange.Originally posted by BusSpeeder:was 190 is affected by yesterday's vesak day? and.....
please la, if smrt wanted DD buses, they will get it long ago and in a huge fleet. reason that smrt uses bendy buses is because they can hold more people and furthermore there are two exits for you to exit from so you do not have to rush out the main exit. and i agree with sbsboy, smrt owned interchanges/terminals are not DD friendly.
I was once told that Australia bendies are like thisOriginally posted by iveco:WHat abt WDL? THere are VSOs there. BBT & CCK were once dominated by DDs too.
Anyway, I have seen bendies with the only exit in the trailer section. The Renault PR180s in Perth are like that.
EH WAIT ! This is a good idea in making people to move to the rear . Fixing only an exit at the trailer section will force passengers to move to the rear , altho compromising unloading speed. Maybe they can add 2 exits at the trailer sections?Originally posted by ZYX2005:i was not aware they had a one door front and a one door trailer type bendy. interesting fact u pointed out!
