The "tell passenger to move to rear" campign

i think is a good idea we all take part and tell people politely to move to the rear o the bus when u see ppl not moving and the people in front cannot board the bus
that way can help people enjoy a better bus ride or not wait for next bus. its getting madness lately. i have to tell people to move in then i can board.

Sometimes some BC would suggest passengers to tap card liao, board from the exit...

precisely my point these ppl not moved in so have to tap in by rear.
pls be speak up and tell them to move in. dun be a shy Singaporean or heck care attitude.

I think if they want people to move to the rear, they need to put a door at the rear.

They should have stickers on the bus windows like here in Toronto.. Starts with "Move back please", then on the next window, "Alitte Further More", Then it ends with a thank you right at the end. Nice touch though..
Or everyone can just yell like what we do here.. -

I think the reason why some ppl dun move in, is bcos they are getting off soon. Like if you are going to alight in two more stops, and you are already standing at the exit door, then next stop got many ppl come in, will you move to the very back or stay near the exit??
I would stay near the exit, cos i will have i hard time squeezing from the back to the exit in the next stop. All i can do is try to "siam" abit for them to let those ppl go behind, but i have to stay there bcos i am going to alight. And dunno if you guys got this experience, when u are at the back, and u need to squeeze through those who are not alighting, they will give you bad looks, like "push wat push, what's the hurry?" look. They are not alighting but i am, and if i dont squeeze through, wait bus driver uncle close door i gonna miss my stop.

I dunno is i suay or what,but everytime,the stop before i am supposed to alight,confirm got alot of people board the bus or train.
Than i have to move in,but then move out again to alight.
Then if i never move in,those people will bump against me.

The most i can do, like i already said, is try to "siam" and let those infront of me to go to the back. Cos they might be getting off in terminal or later stops.
Since the bus is already crowded, it's not a good idea to keep moving in and and out(bcos i am going to alight soon). -

it is a matter of everyone giving a thought of others, becos u think of it this way, another person oso think of it this way, in the end, everyone think of it this way. then everyone cannot get on the bus becos everyone is selfish, would u rather that to happen???
u may be causing more trouble for others by not moving in than by moving in, think of others being stranded at the bus stop cos the empty space on the bus is filled by ghosts instead of ppl
did u get a gd look at the irritated looks of those ppl stranded on the bus stop becos those on the bus don't want to move in??
be more social minded, what u don't want to happen to u, don't make it happen on others. -
yes i understand your point, but maybe u havent miss a stop before, well i had such experience. When crowded you might not be able to reach out to press bell. And once the driver leave the stop, he can only stop in the next one. I am not against the idea of "move to rear". But i think every single person in the bus, under all situation, all try to move to rear isnt a good idea. I am not saying i purposely block them, stopping ppl from getting on the bus.
I try to considerate too(by giving way for those in front to move in), but for my own sake, i have to ensure myself to be able to get off. You mean u are so noble that u willing to take a reverse direction bus(u have to wait too) just to make sure everyone can get on?

My case opposite, not long ago I took SBS824R on 74 (ARBP 16) at Buona Vista MRT. Bus still empty then. I sat somewhere between front & rear door. But as the bus passed ACJC and ACS(I), all those students boarded. When I alighted at Dover MRT, I nearly coudn't get out. Luckily I did, but has to squeeze, of course. This shows that: Move to rear, cannot get out.
