Sad case man, but I hope it will not be scrapped like that, seems very intact (although one windows seems to be broken for escape purpose...)[/b]
possible also . Another problem is the hot running turbocharged engine . The horizontal placement of the engine meant more space is permitted in the passenger compartment , however , the engine is placed inside a tight area , .I found this info from a website , but im not sure whether its true or not . Pardon me if that is not true .Originally posted by brotherchen1982:Remember that a few Habits caught fire due to some wiring problems when they are introduced...![]()
pretty screw up...Originally posted by ^tamago^:
i thot that is the air intake for the engine ? I always thot that the radiator is at the opposite side (the one facing the road ) .Originally posted by jetabt767400:I am quite noob at these things, but from the picture, the fire seemed to have started from the vent (do you call it the radiator?) at the left end of the bus (the one on the CNA site is clearer) and spread to the frame work and the window...
Ideas please...![]()

i heard last time bendies are easiest to catch fire due to its engine at the back.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Seems like the TIB111x regos are jinxed. First is TIB1110S that caught fire (whole bus gone, gutted by the fire and scrapped. ) Now is TIB1118X .![]()

I remember in 2003, there is a Hispano Habit namely TIB1110S caught on fire while on feeder 903 and was scrapped if I not wrong and another bendies (Mark 1) TIB900K was scrapped while on service 67 in 2000 (No infomation about that)Originally posted by rookies:why SMRT bendies always catch fire de? how many buses have caught fire this year le?
