Well , this is common case for almost all SMRT Buses , some of the EDS also sot a bit , once i see a lance having ''Version XXXX'' at the side EDSOriginally posted by tintinspartan:Well, some EDS systems on the new buses all broke down! A Volgren Merc 0405G on 912 or 913 had a big blank at the right of it's front EDS. Some Habit 0405G's back EDS are malfunctioning. Some UD side display were faulty and BCs use the bus service plates for replacement. I dun believe it!
Yes , TIB1034D orange EDS use to be like that before it change positionOriginally posted by Apex-LW'21:The TIB484U EDS display is not the same as TIB1034D. It uses the same format as the one you normally see on SMRT Buses.
(meaning the TIB484U EDS doesnt appear as "YISHUN 857")

TIB1034D has been seen on Service 61, 67, 106, 172, 176, 180, 184, 190(perm).Originally posted by patdog112:today saw the orange eds 1034D on 67 at bedok mrt
So far it does 172 , 176 , 180 , 184 , 300 , 302 , 190(perm) , 61 , 106 and 67.Originally posted by TIB1062Y:Add in Svc 184 (cameo-ed for about 5 consequective days during a period of time), and Svc 106
Its actually similar to the 1034D , thats before the service number change to right side for 1034D.Originally posted by Yaimster:Dang! I saw one at Khatib MRT Station about an hour ago, forgot to take down the pictures.
But for the preview, unlike the Orange EDS for the Bendy one, this version of the Orange EDS looks exectly the same as the Green counterpart, but their changing of slides (as in the via 'roads') flickers automatically, instead of sliding past.
Pardon me for the late reply. 484 should be using Hanover. SMRT (or rather TIBS) have long business relationship with Handover. Moreover, the unit that TIB1034D has is also Hanover. So, i doubt that 484's unit is a TransitMedia.Originally posted by ZYX2005:484 in hanover or trasnit media.??
personally i prefer the old EDS. easier to pic. no flicker out shutter problems. lol

Not to mention even the fonts are the same. Frankly speaking I prefer the old "wiping" effect of the changing of routes. But the current "flicker" as you said, is easier to read without waiting for the whole word to show.Originally posted by Yaimster:Dang! Definitely. The old one was from Lawo Luminator Europa or LLE, the new one is from LAWO.. see the link?Originally posted by TIB1049L:To be frank TIB484U's EDS looks just like the normal green ones except its orange and it 'blinks' to change its wordings instead of 'scrolling'. Seen it on 969 today
