nice one.
i dun think we use a rotating jig like them.
nice pop out ramp.

wow very interesting.. issit the same way they make our SBS buses ?
This a CBU (Completely Built Up) bus. That means, the bus is produced as a complete package. SBS buses are different. Only the chassis is imported from the manufacturer. Once the chassis have arrived, they would start on the bodywork, which was bought as a knock-down package. Imagine a model airplane set for example, with parts you need to assemble together. Its exactly the same concept. SBS bus assembly line is in HG and it is quite ordinary.
well yes indeed.
ut for those who want to fully imagine
the bus base is called the chassis. in the video they show how they stitch n weld the stainless steel metal things up to form the chassis.
next u attach the driving dash n the drive shaft n gear transmission overall onto the chassis. engine also fit in to the entire thing. so that it cna be driven stand alone without anything else.
ok now pause the video
imagine they drive it to port. chuck it into a ship.
next they pack some necessary parts into boxes. stuff like roof panel. floorpnaels seat wiring circuits door hydraulics etc . door window ETC. (note door windows seats and other stuff cna come from other manufactors)
now imagine the ship sail to PSA port with the chassis n the boxes on board
so they roll the chassis off the ship drives it to HG. bare skeleton really.
the boxes also go the assembly place at HG.
now press play on the video n see the rest. note i dun think we use a rotating jig to build the window structure n roof up. but u get the idea. instead they use platform jigs n trollys n workers climb up the platform to reach roof level or what to tend to air-con or weld roof parts in.
can?
