  Not unless SMRT forgets to repair the limiter.I rode on a U31SCN(TIB rego) about 7 years back. Bus driver go and chiong until STRONG WINDS blew in from the window.

  yes. without limiter, i dunnoe. maybe the manufacturers will noe. speedmeter writes 125km/h, but could be more den dat~

  Well, there was once I drove alongside a Dennis Lance and it was doing 75 km/h! On another occasion, I was on my friend's bike along the expressway one night and there was this off service O405 speeding ahead of us. The bike was travelling at 80 km/h and we never get near the bus until it turned out at the exit!

  Empty single deck can go about 120km/h if speedlimiter N/W at all. Also depending on vehicle condition. But that kind of mass going at 120km/h if crash can really make some devastating effect.
  
  Anyway you will not have chance to see that easily. Because it is mandatory by law to bind the speed of all buses to 60km/h. Else someone's head will roll.

  SBS9070 (SV 168 ) was another one who like to overtake buses/lorries or cars. alway see it on the second lane on SLE/TPE.

  Think i took that bus before too . So far alot of LO3x i take on 168 always like to go on second lane and speed one .

  That time took a Mk4 DM on Sv 161 and it chiong along TPE/SLE, especially at SLE where it stayed on to the second lane for most of the time while overtaking a lot of vehicles.

  There was once I was in a taxi travelling about 100 km along lentor avenue, I saw the trans island bus overtaking us like nobody business. It reminded me the malaysian coach at their highway !!

  Lucky you lol. I remember i got took a B10TL on Svervice 161 but cant remember registration plate no. drive so slow until I can see a MK 4 WA service 39 driving on the first lane on TPE and it stunned many road vehicle it went past

  if the speed limiters are truly working, theres still a way to make the buses goes up to 75kmph.
  
  just switch to neutral gear when going downhill
  
  i believe SBS9846T (on S168 last time), the BC did this

  60km/h coz speed limited,but sometimes i know the speed limiter spoil so the engine can hit past that.Speedo ends at 125km/h
