Actually your picture is good enough. Although there might be missing that creative factor, by crouching lower, the pic might turn out much better. My style is crouching low, like others stated too, it would make the subject look more empowering.
Other than that, its alright. (For advanced users, you might want to increase exposure to -0.3 and centre weighted exposure in this case).
Note, my comment is only what I can deduce from the picture, I have to experience myself in order to know the exact exposure. -

In this case, sunlight OK, though it may be a little bit overexposed. Keep the good work on angle. There is still a long way to go at improving your photos.
Experiment on several bus stops and slowly move away from the bus stops as you progress. Good luck!
And may I know whether the bus behind SBS 9380U with the MYOB ad is SBS 9448J on Service 65? -

Angle wise, it's still a bit ok.. Just that you need to crop the pix..
Location wise, that's not a good place for photos as trees above will produce shadows which in turn the bus also kena, and this cause the exterior of the bus appear to be a bit black a bit white and the pattern goes on.. Try to snap it at a location whereby trees's not that much..
In any case where there's quite a lot of trees around you like this pix below (near Bedok Interchange), make sure your pix don't have those shadows of trees like the one I'm going to show you below:
This is the one with shadow of trees.. Compare with the one below..
This is the one without shadows etc..

Some interesting thing is also that in photography, there are also known as golden hours. You may think it as heck, haha, I did ever thought so too, but the golden hours are 8-10am and 4-5pm (1600-1700hrs). The times are when the sun is in its inclination stage, just position yourself back facing the sun, and you can find the subject you are facing in brightly lit. This depends on the location you are at and the weather that day. If the weather is bad and cloudy, hmm, you might want to reconsider. And I love night shots too, just be mindful of you ISO rating (I normally don't exceed 800, my camera only works well within that), and your speed settings. Maybe you want to experiment with light streaks (long exposures) too, if time and camera (and parents) permits... -

ISO100, 8 seconds f18 at 24mm, manual exposure.
My first attempt at playing with light streaks + buses. Bus not very clear this time. Must try again next time, lols...
Mistakes in the picture (spotting own mistake is important in learning)
1. Too many traffic, lols, must pick the correct timing.
2. Bus too short exposure time. This must rely on luck, and if BC speed off, the whole frame is 'wasted'.
3. Lens flare from street lamp. I didn't bring the flare cap out, so must remember to bring next time... -
