It was fine weather. One momement, I was waiting for this MKII to leave the int.( Seen Traffic Light still working and I push the button) The next The MKII just choing out the Int and I just take buttock Pic. Then I realise the traffic light spoil... Hey, you took the pic of that failed traffic light near Hougang Interchange last Thursday (last week of Sch Holiday)? There was a B9TL cameo on 89 on that day. I took Service 161 there and took 80 to Sengkang. You must have took this at around 4:45 pm because it came after I left at 4:44 pm. Lucky you, lucky me

My first attempt at playing with light streaks + buses. Bus not very clear this time. Must try again next time, lols...
Mistakes in the picture (spotting own mistake is important in learning)
1. Too many traffic, lols, must pick the correct timing.
2. Bus too short exposure time. This must rely on luck, and if BC speed off, the whole frame is 'wasted'.
3. Lens flare from street lamp. I didn't bring the flare cap out, so must remember to bring next time...
this photo is fine if the subject or theme of it is on "A Bustling City' or something to that connotation. if the subject is on buses then u cant open ur aperture with F8 as it will require a very long exposure time of 8 sec (that u used), with that high volume of traffic.
if the subject is on the bus then u have to use a MUCH shorter exposure time of 1 or 1.2s. Use F8.0 with long shutter only if u want the 'star' effect of the bus headlight of which where u referred to as 'lens flare'. Its not lens flare.
that is the aperture blade of ur camera creating that effect. this occurs when u set to a very small aperture. (F5.0 or F6.3 onwards in diff scenarios)
with that, i should have also answered the cause of ur point 3. -

Hmm, the lens flare comes from the streetlights, not from the bus. You should be able to see halos on the top right area, thats the flare I meant. It should be able to be dampened out by a flare cap. I try next time tell ya if it woks or not, lols...
Subject in this photo; none. Its meant to be a test shot, lols, sorry for those who got tricked. It was with luck that 525D came in and got in the frame. Definitely, with some percentage, its supposed to be there too... -
