Maybe they used Service guides? I saw some Bus driver cabin have them.Originally posted by MingFreeman:Are there criterias or is it just random allocation?
Like if the driver stays near tampines, will he be allocated to services which serve tampines interchange?
And can they request for a change in service when they get tired of driving the same route?
Non-user lay up meant that buses which are brokedown and under repair, new buses that just arrived and undergoing checks and tests, old buses up for sale for NZ buyers and much more. Talking about it, the outgoing Volvo B10M Mark IIs are most likely going to be sold to NZ as school buses. Some of the Mark IIs are sold to NZ bus companies already and enjoying their new lease of life in NZ.Originally posted by @@:
Can one bus driver drive multiple services? I have seen one driver driving 2 buse services before.
Anyway, here's an unrelated question, but I will just ask anyway:
What is Non-User Lay-Up status? Under what situation will a bus be in Non-User Lay-Up status? Say, 9107T (former SLBP 30), for example. What has happened to it?
Can... Especially the Standby BC I have seen the same standby BCs drive almost every SLBP service. (now got many more standby BCs due to Holiday timetable)Originally posted by @@:

Why do you keep saying this? What makes you so sure the Mk-II will be sent to NZ? Because some were sold there? So what? Does that guarantee the others will get to be sold? Then what if there's no one to buy them? Its straight to the breaker's yard and this is the most likely thing to happen.Originally posted by tintinspartan:Talking about it, the outgoing Volvo B10M Mark IIs are most likely going to be sold to NZ as school buses. Depends on how you see... some say sian(BN 10/SP)... some say easier to remember (BN291, 293/37)...Originally posted by MingFreeman:Are feeder bus drivers "luckier" than the trunk service drivers?
Like shorter routes, reach interchange faster and more rest time.
they do.they bid and if there are vacant slots, they get it. or else they wait and drive other services they are posted to..Originally posted by Raraken:I thought that BC had to apply for the services?
